I LOVED James Hasty in his 6 years with the Jets, played through bad injuries, always played his heart out, emotional leader. So right in his prime they let him get away to to KC in 94 and he had another 8/9/10 years productively mostly w the Chiefs.
In that Eagles game, a team they still have never beaten, that was a devestating loss. Eric Allen's INT for a score was one of the most crushing plays against the Jets of the decade up there with the fake spike the next year
Huh...surprising not just for the fact that they've never beaten them, but looking it up, they've only played each other 12 times. I know that's mostly because of the vagaries of the old NFL scheduling (like how Seattle only played at Buffalo for the first time in 1995, and they had only played 4 games before then), but it still feels weird.

They were much better than 8-8, but they're the jets. Of course, they'll lose 3 straight to blow an opportunity to make a playoff run
