I created this channel to focus on everything to do with Ford Rangers. I love these little trucks, they are cheap easy to modify and great off road.
Please follow along if you have a Ranger and want to learn about modifying and repairing it.
This is part 2 of my light installation, I go over the fit and how they work at night etc.

How do they work with dayligters
Sorry missed your question! My DRLs are not working so I’m not sure. But it retains all the factory plugs so whatever you’re truck does now it will be the same.
Something to consider to complement the new taillights are the two-way license plate lights which have rear-facing red LEDs as well as an all in one third brake/cargo LED unit.
Awesome idea I’ll look into a set. Of those license lights, I did install one of those third brake lights.

I have searched around everywhere for people that have these exact headlights. I purchased some a couple weeks ago and they need adjusted bad because they are pointing straight at the ground but there are no adjustment screws on the headlights anywhere. Any tips?
Awesome lights but that is the worst part….. you really need to pull them out adjust it a bit higher and clip them back in. They don’t have the adjustment access able outside the light. Once I get my straight axles in I will probably need to adjust them I’ll see if I can post a short how I do it…. Either way it’s a real pain to adjust
@@RangerShop1 are the adjustment screws the 3 plastic pieces that have the screw at the end of them that clip in?
No you actually need to physically remove the light then you will see an adjustment screw on the backside. Adjust it the way you think you need then try again. It’s a bit of trial and error.
On these headlights could you remove the halogen bulb and put a led bulb ?
Yeah most definitely! It’s on my to do list once these burn out. 👍
im trying to do this to my 2005 ford ranger what was the black box you said connects to the leds
Sorry it’s been over a year but i think that’s the rear taillights they have a ballast that gets plugged in.
How do you adjust the headlights. I can’t figure it out
Honestly I didn’t adjust mine, just put them in and they are pretty close as is
Greatly enjoy your videos my 2008 ranger has 300000 kms on it and runs great. What are the hp and torque numbers after the super charger install,and hows the fuel economy.
Fuel economy is actually a bit better if your not on the throttle all the time, hp I don’t know for sure but moddbox dyno got 50hp more
How do they light up the road?
To be honest I’d say not much better then the old lights but they sure look cool! 😄

how do you adjust the headlights correctly? mine seem to fit way low no matter how much i try to asjust
Setting the headlight is a bit of a pain you need to remove them each time. I pace out the distance and use a mark on my shop door then adjust them till close. Mine seems to be good. Make sure your curb height is set in your truck also. Because the lights won’t compensate for a rake. Also verify no connectors or wires are binding behind the lights that messed me up for a bit. Hope you get it sorted…. Still love the lights not a drop of moisture in them and they are 👌
Might be a lack of common sense question, but you adjust the headlights with the 3 screws in the black plastic pieces on the rear of the lights correct?

Right on, I think you will be very impressed with the quality! I had to change the signal light plug. I think that’s an older ranger problem though… no problems on the newer ones.
How are they holding up?
Really good no moisture inside and everything is working great. So far still highly recommend them 👍
Nice, I see these headlights on more and more trucks, I liked them but in think because of that I started to not like them as much because I wasn't mine unique lol.
Those taillights, the backup light is in the middle correct? There's these ones then one made for older models that I seen a guy put in his 2011 on here. I think I'd want the backup lights on the bottom just because it's separate.
Yeah they are definitely getting more common. But to be honest I went with them because of the quality they are super well built over any other aftermarket ones I looked at. Your right the light is in the middle. Still highly recommend them 👍
