I’ve always assumed Greenlight DIDN’T pay the full licence (or something) for the Mad Max cars because they don’t include the Mad Max or Road Warrior logos, nor do they mention the studios or other production companies (e.g. Kennedy Miller) on the packaging for any of the scales on the interceptors. I’m sure the relevant parties like Warner Brothers and MGM are probably aware of these, and both have been great about licensing out designs AND logos for so many other movie and tv franchise vehicles that these two have always stuck out as being “unofficially official” which makes me wonder what the legalities really are behind the whole thing.
