I always wanted a real one of these cars to replicate the movie car. I seen the movie when it first came out & the 2nd movie. BTW; Those are lights that you keep calling sirens. The siren is produced through the PA speaker on the top center of the car.
I’d like to know just when will someone produce the MFP Kawasaki in a decent sized scale model ! You can get a tiny one that also has the Toecutter, but it’s just too small.
Nice review. I loved the Mad Max films was thinking about getting this one for my collection but very disappointing knowing that the hood or truck or back doors don't open. Even thou it still look good beside the black interceptor he drove on display.
Yeah, disappointed with that. It's not like Greenlight can't do a hood and trunk well. I got the 70 Vanishing Point Challenger for the same money and that was way better detailed. Missed opportunity here.
Go for it. It really is a nice car to have for display. Stands out due to its colour scheme. Great next to other Mad Max cars. I am really holding out for Greenlight to do the Night Rider Monaro as well. I get Eleanor 2000 last month and I was more impressed how much more professional it felt. Wish this was the same. But I still think its cool. Happy hunting.
You also can buy the night Riley blue HQ Monaro as well all so Goose and the toe cutters bike as well they’re from DDA collectible they have a web site
Great review but without the engine, it misses the whole point...They ask over $145 Dollars for it, so, it should be perfect...still looks good but hey7...Cheers Mate!
Cheers. Feel the same way. The Mad Max die cast are so random now, if you wait for a better one to come along, it may be 10 years. I still remember the day I bought the Mad Max 2 first release 1:18 Autoart for $180 aud about 10+ years ago or so and my mate was like "Seems a bit too expensive." Glad I got it though, these now go like 500 Euro second hand.
@@MFPMapFilmProductions By today's pricing it still does look very good and is not too expensive ....The Autoart cars look great saw two interceptors comparison Greenlight and Autoart...both looked really good with slight improvement with the Autoart but you pay a fair amount more of course...Like you said one could wait ten years these all look great really...Enjoy collecting be safe and well Mate!
@@graemel3069 cheers mate. I have both part one and part two Autoart versions and have the footage and plan to do a review video on both sometime in the near future.
Yeah, I am noticing that more and more with each Greenlight I buy. My Eleanor was okay. But my Vanishing Point challenger is shocking in places. Like one part with chipped and they used white out to fill in the missing paint.
@@MFPMapFilmProductions I had a chip in passenger door , chip on front hood and a huge chunk of silver paint was missing from the roof light as well as marks on the rear passenger door. Not sure if the North American release will be any better QC wise.
No one is mentioning the crap size exhaust or the trumpets on the end of them that are missing and there solid not hollowed out either this spoils the overall look in my opinion

Thank you for the tip. I will look it up.
The dark one
Very good work . Where can I buy this 1:18 model? Greetings from Germany 😊
Thank you. I would say Ebay is your best bet or Amazon. Try a model shop as they may still have some in stock. Good Luck.

Nightrider can't watch this video because he bursts into tears...
There are paint defects on a lot of these. I have 2 and both have paint flaws.
