This Brother Mark totally understands the concept of continual growth, awareness and responsibility. Big Respect to you, Mark and Curt. Great job on dropping bombs of truths.
Mark nailed it re involvement in sports and visiting hospitals. One) because sports produces and demands disciplined human beings and Two) visiting hospitals unlock and allow access to they're/our untapped empathy hidden behind they're/our disappointments. Once again, Respect
His dad used to come up to my gym 12-13 years ago. He used to help train guys. He told me he was in the marine corp with Kenny Norton and in the Olympics. Really solid dude.
I remember watching Mark, James, Lee others train up Elliot with Ham and Ham was always looking to pull kids out the neighborhood that had the heart to learn how to box. Boxing in the 80’s early 90’s in DC was life. Everybody boxed at the some gym.
It’s so good to hear our story (DC). We have some legends both from a positive perspective (which is most important) and unfortunately from the underworld. DC air, food, swag, lingo, character, etc., unless you from here you really can’t understand. Bone keep up the great content!
My Fam & Boxing Hall of Famer Mark Too Sharp. That's my man and FAM. Stand up man, honorable guy and hilarious, just like his dad Ham. Love Mark Too Sharp, he is good people and down to earth. A true champion & DC own (The Champ is here)🥊
Curt I be listening to other podcast but it feels good to listen to guys from my city, our talk our swag our lingo. Keep up up the work Bro! I’m pushing your podcast. #BenningParkOOOG🔫
GREAT Fighting Legend!! 👍👏👍 DC's Best!!!!! Had the pleasure of seeing his work while training at Finley's back in '92. Saw him spar Darrell 'Too Sweet Coley while prepping for their fights. I remember that speed🥊. Great work, Champ.👏👏👏👏
Mark n Demarcus, are the reason why I tried boxing.I grew up under them both I been too mark house b4.i went to school with chop chop. This was one of the main reason guys start shooting cuz dc dudes was whooping they ass.
Hello in Richmond Virginia...My coworker has family in Richmond Virginia that own the Restaurant Mama J soul food on 415 north 1st street...zip code is 23219❤
Appreciate the shout out !!! In all actuality we did crank up the “ call out” which is a version of guns down hands up we Just couldn’t do it publicly because of some USA Boxing regulations!!! There are others like myself quietly resolving disputes under the radar behind closed doors !!! Unfortunately there are some situations that you just have to step back because the individual(s) involved just not willing to let go !!! James aka (lil Han) was something special like Mark said for those who knew!!! He was staying at an apartment I had in Oxon out Boxing for about 5 years and I cranked him back up he jumped into all the major tournaments and one them as a result he was invited to represent the US in the Goodwill Games (Moscow) but was told during the physical he couldn’t ever fight again because of an old injury he sustained on a dirt bike !!!
Coming up in DC I been to 2 Sharp Barber Shop to get my hair cut back in the day, my first NBA player I ever met was Sherman Douglas at summer league up Dunbar HighSchool, and Got bootleg dvds and bathed apes from Curtbone store he had in Landover by the Home Depot back in early 2000. Good to see the hometown heroes do their thing and tell their stories to the world. Gave me pride to watch 2Sharpe fight on tv as Kid and as a Man to go to a SU game to see #20 in the rafters and tell my son who he is and where he from. Love and Respect to Curtbonetv.
Great interview 👍 guys these are 2 of the most influential people I'm my life may God continue to bless u all keep up the good work and keep those blinders on
Peace and Respect ✊🏿. CurtBone Tv another Banger. Always producing excellent content, great interview CurtBone and TooSharp. DMV it should be way more subscribers and way more likes 👍. DMV give CurtBone his jewels and what he deserves. This is real content and jewels. No BS. Respect ✊🏿
Really CurtBone. It’s not drama which everyone wants to see, but everyone with positive vibes doesn’t subscribe to drama and controversy. What you put out is real life and something people can use.
I'm from Indianapolis In. and Too Sharp Johnson was a bad boy. I remember him and Johnny Tapia, Tapia was a crazy dude😂. Boxing back then was just different 🥊
Mark too Sharp! Sadly I didn't even know he was from D.C. .. I'm from Nu Jersey but I lived in DC 15 years, many boxing shows. Had no idea D.C was this great fighters city. Real boxing fans know

He said dont talk to me about going to the championship rounds when you aint been to the championship rounds. You have to have that same energy when it comes to streets too. Shout out to Too Sharp and Kurt for a great interview tho
I love it slim, D.C finest. #Respect. We had good fighters out of the city, I just think they didn’t get the promotion to fully push talent and notoriety! Peace! Mark my man and Sean Johnson is my Lil big homie! 💪🏽💪🏽
I'm gonna gonna give y'all l one ! I was ringside at" Hillcrest boxing gym" for the 1984 "Golden Gloves" Paul Walker vs FLOYED Favors. Favors was the darling of USA boxing and a shoe in to represent USA in the 84 Olympics in a few months -) Paul not only beat Favors ,but dropped him in the 2nd round . A few months later FLOYED Favors got knockout in the Olympic trials. To this day i believe that Paul Walker fight took something out of him. I swear to this day it was 3 of the best rounds of boxing I've ever seen. It was Hagler/ Hearns like.
I remember Too Sharp. His fights were always full of fireworks and excitement.
Living walking Legend Too Sharp Mark 🥊🥋🥊

Wanted to see who he picked with Gerald McCellon vs Roy Jones
They said amateurs don't count but Gerald McClellan beat Roy Jones in the amateurs
