Clevers stuff is top tier. To echo other comments, a perfect mix between flashy and balanced. While some over the top movesets I can only really see myself messing around with for a hour or two, Clevers i can see myself doing a full playthrough.
My problem with ER mods is that many of them just completely invalidate all base-game weapons. I understand that it's difficult to strike that fine balance between form and function, but most of them don't even try lmao. Elden Ring is already the easiest Fromsoft game, you don't really need a mod which trivialises the challenge even further. Clever makes really good mods. Especially his later ones really manage to land in that space between "damn this is sick" and "damn this is strong."
Yeah, I agree. There are a lot of mods that take away all challenge from the game but they can be mitigated by limiting leveling/stats. There are a few gems that strike a good balance of strength and uniqueness.
I absolutely love clever's works, heaven splitter being my favourite even after the dlc and one thing I wanted to mention that was not displayed in here is there's a special guard counter for the weapon, it's Genichiro's attack where he jumps to the sky and shoots 4 arrows in a row
I would love to discover a way to merge some of these with Convergence. Especially Draconic Paladin & Heaven Splitter. I just wrapped up my 1st Convergence + First Person play through & I absolutely loved it. I can't even see myself going back to vanilla, but some of these weapons might be worth giving vanilla another go lol.
God's bane's sweeping attacks should have been godslayer greatsword's skill. Such a bold name given to a weapon with a skill which does half a swipe that winds up for 3 - 5 business days.
I wish more weapons would have custom animations instead of animations taken from other souls games. Is it really that hard to import your own animations or are modders just not skilled enough/dedicated enough to create their own animations with hitboxes and stuff?
Great mods all around . Sadly, we still dont have a system that works together. Merging files and crap isn't fun and is super tedious in hopes it even works. These are amazing mods but can't be used simultaneously.
Moveset is definitely not "completely new" for the spear form of the first weapon. It's Bloodblade Dance, and the second is a 1h straightsword's moveset.
I just need a mod that adds more weapons to the game or to the already current existing weapon categories especially since the dlc didnt really bring many new weapons to their new categories but that might just be me xd
Ah thank you for asking, not many ask my opinion. So to start out Garden of Eyes has given me free access to his mod so that I can do showcases and he has been a really nice guy to me. As for the mod I really like the art direction and design they have chosen for the weapons and bosses, I like the dark Gothic almost idea to it. Balancing has some issues here and there, and I hope to see more content than mostly weapons as the new weapons seems to be the biggest bonus right now. As for the Patreon I have some mixed feelings, on one hand making mods is extremely tedious and can be difficult so I can understand wanting a guaranteed payment for all the work being done. On the other hand I know there are tons of other mods that do fine on a donation system voluntarily. But then again I know the mod is supposed to be free on final release. But TLDR I think it is a solid mod, has a ton of weapons and some neat changes. May not be the best for everyone, but I think it will get even better in time
I actually tried the heaven Splitter on the mimic fight, was hoping for a cool duel but it didn't work quite properly and the mimic kept spamming skills and it actually didn't render the weapon
Been following clever's work for awhile and I can tell his mods are truly the best, not very overpowered or exaggerated at least for my taste
100% agree!
One of the best out there, his mods truly stand above and I'm surprised he hasn't been recruited to a team (as far as I know)

Yeah, his stuff is balanced well enough to keep a good difficulty

Just amazing and i know it doesnt have much to do but that god's bane attack right after the ball is just sick
It is a rather fun attack

I would love watching you fininho the whole game using this Heaven splitter mod, that is amazing.
It is one of my favorite mods, cleverraptor does amazing work
I haven't seen a single flail mod... It's a little upsetting how little love flails get...
They really do get so little...
Something like a true Nightrider Flail or even something like that weapon the Nightrider Captain in Convergence uses would be cool.

Convergence mod got a lot of top 5 weapon mods
I really wish there was a complete merge between Convergence and Clevers Moveset, and maybe add Syykkes in there too
I wanna say someone was working on a merge with clevers and convergence.
You know I never thought of having a lightning bolt for a twinblade... but now that I know it can be done, I'd really fuckin like to have it lol.

Referring to the other movesets, as in 3 separate and different sets. I suppose 'completely different' works better here
Do these conflict with Convergence?
I just need a mod that adds more weapons to the game or to the already current existing weapon categories especially since the dlc didnt really bring many new weapons to their new categories but that might just be me xd
The convergence mod adds a lot of new weapons and I have a few videos that showcase them
Snuggly, what are your thoughts on Garden of Eyes?

Rusty would be happy to see his mod on the list
Are all of these compatable with each other ?any conflicts ?
how to do the draconic paladin attacks?
What reshade are you using in these showcases?
My custom reshade, snugglys cinematic reshade, and I use v2
Ah, that's the stuff!
Hope you found a new weapon to try
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 I wanna put these on mimic tears to see how they fare
I actually tried the heaven Splitter on the mimic fight, was hoping for a cool duel but it didn't work quite properly and the mimic kept spamming skills and it actually didn't render the weapon
Is it possible to do mods on Xbox if not then that sucks
God's Bane is DS2 Animations, not DS3.
Ah thanks for the correction!
Yeah can someone put me on to a video teaching me how to install mods on steam deck directly from desktop mode
I would help, but I am not familiar enough with the steam deck to give advice.
