this vehicle is a beast respect to the austrian engineers here is greece we use use 400 vehicles to protect our islands and anothere 100 to give some extra help to cyprus our seldiers say that this vehicle is on top our version was supposed to be an ifv but the turret was removed and it ended up being an apc it has better better armor and a better engine from the original but you guys made the first version and the original design so respect to you my austrian friends
jesus fucking christ why the fuck there are bots here in a video about a fucking apc , on a old comment of mine when i used to have dreams about the military ?
I get emotional .. during my military service in Austria I drove one with the 2cm cannon. However, from today's perspective the hatches at the top side are a horrible idea: A simple grenade and the whole crew is potentially dead or heavily injured, including the driver.
It is used as a secondary armament, although not all SPz Saurer have/had these. In the Austrian Army we use the renewed version of the 42 - the MG 74. I´m not quite sure, but I think it is actually the 74 in this video.

Why does the one whit the 20mm autocannon turret have a MG42 on the back ?

Its for anti-aircraft purposes.
nice light tanks but sadly under power with just 250hp. 350-400hp powerplant will be great and good for cover-up during war times

Also kein Stress!
Schaut her, österreichisches Blechspielzeug.
