Edwin Rodriguez it's better to buy them I would say. You can get them at card shops or online like Amazon or EBay. The reason why is because they are sealed properly around the edges which will protect your cards rather then using tape or any other adhesive if you were to make them. Plus the sleeves that you can buy are acid free which is very important for your cards. If you don't have money then save up for it is what I would say or look for another brand that may be more affordable. I use Ultra pro and have no issues.
What if I try to do this technique with magic cards? will it work or will I make a tear in the fabric of the universe thus ending the human race as we know it?

It looks like when you put the clear sleeves they gave you it looked tight so does that mean the card will bend

to help shuffle the cards just push the bottom corners together
