    It would be great if Pokemon actually gave us gem mint cards out of packs.

      Daniel Sierra they're mint until you use them.

    Something I suggest for those who like to use binders, use a zippered binder such as the ultimate guard zipfolio, or the "case it" series of binders. Will help to keep dust out, which is what most binders seem to be a magnet for.
    I actually don't suggest the use of a toploader binder for two reasons: dust being the biggest issue. And the second reason is they don't last very long when loaded. The weight of the pages once loaded becomes so heavy that the actual pages will start to rip, even if you don't move the binder frequently (literally left my binder on the shelf for a year, several pages ripped).
    Thanks for your opinion on best ways to store cards Jordan. Those of us in the PSA game like to see what others use.

    I have a different way. It really works, but you have to buy three different types of sleeves, toploaders, and team bags.
    Step 1) Take an Ultra Pro: Pro Fit sleeve and put your card into it, leaving the bottom unprotected.
    Step 2) Take an Ultra Pro: Deck Protector sleeve and put it over the Ultra Pro: Pro Fit sleeve from the bottom, making the entire card covered.
    Step 3) Take an Ultra Pro: Deck Protecter Cover sleeve and put it over the Ultra Pro: Deck Protector sleeve from the top, so that the top of the card is covered twice.
    Step 4) Take a Premium Top Loader and put your covered card into it, regularly.
    Step 5) Take a Resealable Team Bag and insert your fully covered card into the Team Bag.
    Step 6) Like this comment. (totally helps to protect your card)

    youre suggesting the hard sleeves over penny sleeves, when these actually give more damage moving it out of the sleeve than penny sleeves. These actually keep space between the card and the edges. I have penny sleeves, kmc perfect fits, and the mewtwo sleeves you are talking about. Least damage with penny sleeves, maybe into a toploader.

  • @pixelporpoise6039

    awesome video man!!
    I protect my cards by using Ultra Pro fit sleeves and ice leave the cards carefully upside down and then I put the card sleeved with a perfect fit sleeve in to a Ultra Pro sleeve the normal way so that way it is double sleeved and prevents any dust or debris from getting to the actual card and then I put it in an Ultra Pro binder similar to yours so that way the card is protected three times over lol.

  • @lcathi4016

  • @trestent
    @trestent 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    You don't have to put a sleeve upside down on a card if you use a sidelining binder since dust can't collect at the top. Just a little easier to put them in right side up, is all.

  • @absolvshoundoom9659
    @absolvshoundoom9659 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    We put ours in Pro-Fit Sleeves right side up then we put them in Deck Protectors upside down so NO dust can get in them AT ALL so they are protected all the way around, then they go in their binder pages like that, but we dont send anything to PSA, so yeah..... - Case

  • @MonarchMan

    okay so when I use it I use the Ultra Pro magnet cases and then I have a plastic shrink machine and Shrink plastic all around them so absolutely no dust gets in the OR scratches get on them and they are in perfect condition forever that's the best way I found besides sending it into PSA

    question whats the best way to store and keep your cards safe and still be able to play with them at the same time I have all mine in a binder but I feel taking them out and putting them in sleeves each time I want to play kinda throws off the condition idk what do you think I have tons of sleeves should I jst migrate my cards over to them and forget about the binder ?

    I usually just put my cards in the ultra pro 9 pocket dividers. I've noticed that when I use sleeves from Elite Trainer boxes and then place them in my Ultra pro binder, not only are they hard to get in the pockets but they always warp my cards. Now I just stick to the ultra pro 9 pocket binder. Do you have a suggestion that is better than just doing this?

    • @FierceDeityZ3L
      @FierceDeityZ3L 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ultra Pro Deck Protectors Standard Size + Ultra Pro Pocket Binder. That's all you need really. They are made for each other, so they fit great.

    • @FierceDeityZ3L
      @FierceDeityZ3L 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure on the sizes compared to the elite trainer ones, but I use Ultra Pro sleeves in my pro binder and its fits perfectly. Basically just like he has at 4:42, that's what I'd say you want to do for the best protection.
      In my experience putting them in a binder without a sleeves can cause the edges to whiten, especially on the back as they do move slightly when your going through the binder. Hope that helps :)

    • @dylanharris2608
      @dylanharris2608 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Z3L Thanks. I'll look into that then. I thought about getting the standard size ultra pro pro fit sleeves since they are a tighter a fitting sleeve for Pokemon cards.

  • @GlitchedCactus
    @GlitchedCactus 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    I put my cards in expert sleeves and in top loaders but they still end up bent or curved. Why?

    • @JordanJapan
      @JordanJapan  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +BlueGamer11 Could be because it is an older card. The older cards just start to warp over time and there isn't much that could be done unless you get it in something as sturdy as what PSA uses.

    • @GlitchedCactus
      @GlitchedCactus 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      No the cards I got aren't old. They're the nicer ones. I'm talking XY series new. XY Primal clash roaring skies new. They aren't bent or curved when I first pull them but for some reason once in sleeves and to powders they bend or curve

    • @JordanJapan
      @JordanJapan  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      BlueGamer11
      That sounds unusual I have never had that issue with newer cards unless I forgot to sleeve them

    • @GlitchedCactus
      @GlitchedCactus 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know it confuses me too! One card I'm extremely proud of polling is the full art mega shiny rayquaza ex is starting to bend a bit. I use those ultra pro sleeves that got the blue background and aren't see through but I may have those trainer box sleeves. Should I try that to see if anything happens?

    • @brokid45playz97
      @brokid45playz97 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +BlueGamer11 Here are two explanations. Either you keep your sleeved cards in a elite trainer box, or you are not putting the PSA sturdy protectors.

    Weak.
    Printed-on sleeves are fragile.
    Turning around the cards within a sleeve does nothing. Were you actually for real???? You'd need inner sleeves, called "perfect fits".
