Chasing Ghosts (2023 Oregon Blacktail)

8 years is how long its been since ive been able to hunt these incredible deer. I grew up in Oregon, spent 26 years of my life in the PNW. I honestly took for granted the opportunity to chase these elusive creatures when i moved to Utah. So, when the stars aligned with my dads birthday, my mom and dad retiring and being able to purchase a tag i could not pass it up. Thank you to Trevor and Jared for helping me out. It lit the blacktail deer fire once more!!

I've shot Mathews bows since I could afford to buy my own at the age of 14. These are the quitest , smoothest, most forgiving bow on the market.
The Sevr broadhead blew me away this year. Most accurate expandable broadhead on the market. Best penetrating broadhead . I shot both the 1.5 ti and the 2.1 ti this year.
For My rifle hunts I use a custom built BORING rifle chambered in 300 prc. Shooting hornady 212 eldx. I feel this is one of the best rifle setups I have ever shot
