Bouldering is done close to the ground with mats but no harness.

Future climbing phenom. Great parents too. When she was struggling to reach a high hold they didn't step in but instead let her figure it out. This will be a skill that will reach well beyond climbing.
I'm impressed by the patience on that climb. A lot of kids just jump down and tries something else, when they can't figure it out immediately. This kid however, took their time until it worked.

To some parents that’s not necessary for their child’s confidence development. Not trying to be rude I’m just saying that in some parenting methods that’s what they do.

Great performance. Would be nice to know if the wall had an incline because it seemed 90 degrees vertical. I couldn't let my kid climb that high with at least spotting. But then again this probably isn't the first time the kid climbed that. Anyway, something I can show my kid to encourage him.

At 47 seconds he does what’s called “social referencing” . . . He looks around to see if anyone saw him accomplish the first difficult feat.
He looks around scared and I didnt hear or see anyone giving any reassurance.

I'm not a parent and never will be, but I would be under that kid, waiting to catch, not videoing.
I would bet…. There is somebody to catch (in general… its normal if you boulder that someone is watching you and can intervene)
At what age will you teach him to not boulder over his shoulder...?
