Also Djokovic is not in his Prime, he is just that great right now and the GOAT to continue winning currently, but 36 is not the definition of "prime". Your comment does not make sense.
@@isaacflorez4820 It was sarcastic, Federer was insanly good, but his era was, in comparation with Novak and Rafas era, just weak

This was s cool video, thanks! Novak is my favorite, but it is special to see Goran winning both as a player and a coach.
Philipousis!! Roger's longevity here it is!
Defending the title 4 times in a row is incredible by the Swiss maestro 👏👌 & now it's djoker's time to tie the record this year and go beyond & become the 👑 of wimbledon in the long run 🤞
Yea pretty much last meaningful record Roger has. After that he will become just another Sampras.
@@flashdoom sure. the 237 weeks record doesn't exist. Roger Federer walked, that's why Djokovic can run today.
Federer in his prime is still the highest level on grass, he beat Novak in 2012 at Wimbledon when he was closer to his peak and nearly won as an old man in 2019. Obviously Novak will win more Wimbledon titles, because they’ll come against the likes of Kyrgios and Berrettini (whom Federer easily defeated in 2019).
@@casey4664 exactly. Djokovic didn’t have competition. Not to mention they’ve totally killed the centre court. It’s so slow, it’s a disgrace. Overall, it’s much easier to shift from clay to grass now. Imagine Djokovic trying to beat the likes of Roddick and Ivanisevic on a proper grass court.💀
@@avyuktkochhar8374 Djokovic didint have competition?Djokovic played in one of the strongest era ever dummy 🤣
It's incredible how Federer dominated the finals for 16 years between 2003 and 2019 with 12 finals during this time. Wish he could have won 2019 tho.
Only needed one good serve….ugh
@@BOER1717 Good serve is not good enough against Greatest returner of all time Novak GOATOVIC.
Djokovic has definitely proven to be the better of the two, but the margins are incredibly thin. Just imagine for a second that Federer had won US Open semi 2011 and Wimbledon final 2019 against Djokovic (in both these matches he had two match points on serve). Federer would still be the goat today had that happened.
@@andro99991 That's the mental part of the game which is actually the most important and it differentiates great players from the greatest ones.
@@andro99991 2019 Wimbledon and his loss to Nadal in 09 Aus are the more inexplicable losses of his career.
Especially because Nadal hasn't performed well at all in Australia over the course of his career and played a GREAT match against Djokovic, better than his 14 and 15 performances for sure.
Really incredible how much times Rafa had a place in the final.
Only a clay courter apparently
Vamoos rafa ❤️
he was bad and mediocre in 2012 to 2017, losing early against lower ranked players
2008 is by far the most iconic,Rafa nadal screaming on the ground will be remembered for years.

12 times Wimbledon finalist, that speaks clearly for Roger. Hopp Schwiiz! :)
Roger was simply insane 😮
Djokovic wins wimbledon. Commentators: Let's run the loop "Superstar".
What a privilege to have lived during the Federer / Nadal / Djokovic era.
That Roddick-Federer game in ‘09 remains to this day the best game I’ve ever watched. Although, I’ve never seen anyone get as salty as Federer does when he loses

Honestly all 3 should be remembered as the greatest era of Tennis and the 3 kings of tennis who are super human. There all at 20 or more slams and most tennis players struggle to win GS tournament world class, There are 3 goat's in this sport, they all had an important role in the sport. Federer losing the 2019 title, his last Wimbledon final, to Djokovic on a shank is so bizarre. It's just Roger taking a loss the exact same way Roddick did on HIS final bid for a Wimbledon title. The main difference is Andy didn't earn a single title at Wimbledon, and Roger had eight, but still, it's all so absurd.

2011. The new king of Wimbledon. Here to rule.
So many memorable/historical matches here!
Sampras getting his all time record
Goran finally breaking through and getting a title after so many tough loses to Agassi/Sampras (played on a Monday after a rain out Sunday made the atmosphere UNMATCHED - crazy and great fans made it sound like a soccer match)
Nadal taking over Federer as the number 1 after years of chasing him and FINALLY winning against him at Wimbledon after two prior year defeats
Federer getting the all time record against Roddick in an absolute masterpiece put together by Roddick (played an almost perfect match except for the second set tie break volley) and broken only one time for the match after 4+ hours
Murray finally winning Wimbledon after coming up short during the Olympics
Djokovic asserting his dominance at the event against his two great rivals with some classics too. Finally catching Federer and Rafa at 20 to match the all time total!

Murray came up short in 2012 Wimbledon. Not the Olympics, he won the Olympics

From 2003 till 2010 in the final, has a total of 7 and people still dare speak about who the king of Wimbledon is. Roger is the goat of this sport, there's simply no denying it.
Novak is as great an actor as he is a tennis player. The way he shows affection and smiles after being beaten. That's not what he's feeling. But it's an admirable lie. A respectful one. One of his best qualities. The others being resilience and consistency.
