For our conference on the Spiritual Battle of Our Time, Fr. Casey gives the fifth and final talk on sports and other modern idolatry that tends to crowd out our devotion to God. He points out that Sports and many other modern pastimes are good in and of themselves but they are becoming more and more like a religion, getting in the way of our Sunday obligations and generally becoming disordered.

Husbands-for the sake of God, your souls & your wives (those of you who are married), put God first on Sundays & He will truly bless you! The family that Prays together Stays together! Thanks for the feedback. Some of our videos from that period had this problem. If you are on a mobile device it will sound garbled but if you plug in an earphone and listen that way the audio will be fine. Or you can listen to it on a desktop device or laptop. I hope this helps God bless.

Yes I have meant Catholics who believe if your good even those not Catholic they will enter. My understanding of Jesus words in scripture is one we are not Holy only God. We must persevere keep ourselves untouched from this world. We are all sinners saved by Gods grace we must stay close to our love the one true Messiah and his Churrch.

I live in Moranbah Old Australia. The worst diocese is mine. I pray to Holy Mary to send a 100 Dr. FATHER CASEY'S to change this secular churches of the Rockhampton diocese. Too much of secularism because of complacent lazy priests.
