I don't know why men find it shameful to ask for help when needed. For us women, it's like wearing pink. Only a true man would feel confident enough to wear it without giving a fuk what other people think. It's kinda sexy that Sanji thinks of Robin as a crewmate who can hold her own. It is such a development on the trust between crewmates.

But look at this from growth perspective and you see why this is important for the Strawhats. i remember when this aired, i loved it and was so emotional, because i understood how Sanji trust Robin and her streight to save him. that Sanji was the one to ask for help and it to be a woman who he loves and wants to protect all the time, for who he usually prefers to fight her fights and defend her from attacks. THIS SCENE SHOWS SANJIS CHARACTER AS THE GENTLEMEN AND GOOD CREW MATE HE IS AS HE RELY ON HER. BELIVE IN HER. i was just speachless and is think i cried in this part. And it also makes you realize he is more of a man than anyone present there. When you don't underestimate women is when you truly respect them.
