This is a great video. The clock is made from a cut out book titled "Make Your Own Working Paper Clock" by James Smith Rudolph. The video makes it look easy -- it's not, but if you are careful with your construction it really works!

it reminds me of those stop motion sequences in old sesame street episodes, even the live action sequence at the end!

What?!? It takes some real patience to build such paper cogwheels ... I've been building paper models for like ten years and I was always nervous when I had to cut out all those tiny flaps for rounded surfaces and now I see this ... but it makes me wanna build one of those :D

Wow! I tried making the paper clock twice - the first one I gave up on and the second one kind of worked but never really ticked for very long. I must give it another go!!!
And you animated it while making it - brilliant!

Excellent video! I can't wait to use it to help me build the paper clock that's been sitting on my bookshlef for the past 9 years (since I've never found the time to fully devote myself to its intricacies) My only question is "Why you didn't you show the assmebly of the pendulum, as it is the only visibly moving part in the final real-time sequence?" Other than that, it was awesome and the music and sound effects were perfect!

Wow amazing! This must have taken so much time and effort. Great job! The only thing was the sound effects were a little loud. That's nothing though -- really amazing work.

It's amazing it works as well as it does. How heavy is the paper?
