Why Monk Fruit is the Best Natural Sugar Substitute
Monk fruit is often considered one of the best natural sugar substitutes for several reasons:
Zero Calories and Carbohydrates: Monk fruit extract contains zero calories and carbohydrates, making it an excellent option for people looking to reduce their caloric intake or manage their blood sugar levels.
High Sweetness Intensity: The sweetness of monk fruit is much more intense than regular sugar. It is estimated to be 150-200 times sweeter than sugar, so only a small amount is needed to achieve the desired sweetness.
No Glycemic Impact: Monk fruit sweetener does not raise blood sugar levels, making it suitable for diabetics and people following low-carb or ketogenic diets.
Natural Origin: Unlike artificial sweeteners, monk fruit sweetener is derived from a natural source-the monk fruit (also known as Luo Han Guo). This appeals to people who prefer natural products over synthetic ones.
Antioxidant Properties: Monk fruit contains antioxidants called mogrosides, which have anti-inflammatory and potentially anti-carcinogenic properties. These antioxidants provide health benefits beyond just sweetness.
Minimal Aftertaste: Monk fruit sweetener typically has less of a bitter aftertaste compared to other natural and artificial sweeteners, making it a more pleasant option for many people.
Heat-Stable: Monk fruit sweetener is stable at high temperatures, making it suitable for cooking and baking without losing its sweetness or developing an unpleasant taste.
These characteristics make monk fruit a versatile and health-conscious choice for those seeking a natural alternative to sugar.

You talked about the aftertaste with stevia and for myself, with my tastebuds, I have found that stevia infused in liquid (water or alcohol makes no difference) there is no aftertaste (unless i use way too much). Powdered stevia has a bitterness in the aftertaste even in tiny amounts. What I'm suggesting is that MAYBE the method of extracting the sweetness has a lot to do with the aftertaste. I would be interested in hearing other people's opinions.

For me, it doesn't matter WHAT the source of sweetener, they are all bad for me, my gut and oral thrush and triggering sinus drainage almost immediately upon consumption.

FYI? I recently noticed, that all Citrus fruits sold by the ALDI'S food chain, are coated with the "so called" NATURAL film that in reality? Is a combination of some organic by-product, mixed with a variety of pesticides & chemicals that are supposed to prolong the natural disintegration of the fruit. It gives the fruit a sheen or luster that makes it appear "fresher"😏
However, it cannot be rinsed off.., (even though a recent retraction by the Co that produces it) tries to imply that 'warm water is needed'.
Altogether, it is just another way our government is giving these independent enterprises a green light to continue poisoning the general public while passing their products off as health conscious.
Dont believe it. Boycott all types of products of this kind. For you & your families own good! 🕊️

The NOW stevia glycerite has no alcohol. Least offensive of the stevias out there.
I’ve never heard of their monkfruit - I’ll have to look that up!

I get that it is a bit pricy but if you are diabetic and you have to get that expensive meds for it that is hard to find; wouldnt you think that it is worth it to pay the money for the monk fruit? Obviously, you like sweets, otherwise you wouldnt be diabetic.

If you're talking about Ozempic diabetic med, you don't want to take that unless you have no choice. It has terrible side effects. Can really cause you stomach problems too.
