    As someone who is an absaloute beginner at crochet (ive never touched a hook 😦) anything I’ve tried to make so far ends up looking disfigured- but this tutorial was golden and I actually made something cute!! A note for other beginners is that keeping trying and your work will pay off!! ^_^

      hiii! I hope u reply today, or in a few hours. I was thinking for my first project to do this (the arm warmers) or the pencil pouch with lase on her page aswell? what do u think would be the best? I’m young, so I’m scared I’ll fail more easily n I want something easy but cute to flex as my first project LOL

    • @ilovepinkbows...
      @ilovepinkbows... 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! I feel like the leg warmers are the easier option! I was so challenged with the fingerless gloves!!! Also remember, It's totally okay if you don't get it on the first try. I had to attempt like 7 times for the gloves and i had to give in lol.@@duaa4u

      @@duaa4ui would personally recommand the arm warmers as a beginner bcuz by doing the arm warmer u also practice doing stiches, single crochet as well as dou le crochet! Very useful, also if u dont know how to do some parts, example u dont know how to do slip stiches join then go have a look at tutorials then come back on the bid, i did the same and gl!❤

    This tutorial was great!! It was easy to follow and the results came out nice for me ^^ I definitely will say that if you are using a thicker yarn or a fuzzy yarn, you might have to make a few adjustments. Other than that, you just need to follow the pattern and it should look very similar to the ones in the video!!

    hi mahum! i'm having trouble understanding where to place the first double crochets on the edge of the ribbing, would it be in between each previous row of the ribbing? or just anywhere there is a hole? does it really matter as long as the double crochets stay even in number for the rest of the rows? thank you so much for the tutorial 💖💖

    • @mahumcrochets
      @mahumcrochets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Anything will work as long as you’re not adding too many stitches, try to make it a reasonable number that’s spaced out neatly and still fits around your hand. I did most of mine at the end of each ribbing row, hope that helps💕

    Following this pattern with bulky 5-weight yarn and I'm surprised at how simple this is. I'm using Bernat Symphony in the Pomegranate punch colorway. Over the last 3 days, I've figured out how to make a hat and these arm warmers, and I also made a little button scarf that ended up being too long for a loop scarf but too short for an actual scarf. I haven't even used the full skein of it yet! Hand warmers seemed so intimidating to me at first, but now I'm surprised at just how simple they actually are!

    • @wyrmlight1168
      @wyrmlight1168 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KeroJas I chained 12 but I probably could have chained in the ballpark of 8-10. If you mean how many rows I did, I think I'm counting 16 right now. You could probably figure out the sizing of it by crocheting however many rows you need, slip stitching it together, and then trying it on. If it's too tight, add a few more rows, and if it's too loose, frog one or two. That's what I did lol. ^^
