    My husband and I lived in Boise for 6 years and it is where we met and fell in love - 17 years later and we still want to move back! Thank you for reminding me of it's beauty and all of the reasons we hope to one day live there again :) I love your videos btw, they allow me to be able to "get away" from this crazy world we live in now, even if just for a bit :)

    Watching your videos is my daily vacation. I found the channel after searching South Dakota videos.
    I enjoy the video quality, the info you give about the areas, the setup of the TH-cam page, its super easy to search for a certain state of country, and the commentary is top notch. Thank you for sharing all of the adventures! I love your content, and I look forward to seeing future adventures.

      @@AdventuresofAplusK yeah it's kinda crazy here in BC. We were doing quite well with the Covid outbreaks but because so many people are just doing whatever they want the numbers are increasing and they are talking about closing things down again, sad and frustrating. I lived in Nampa last summer and spent 3 hours in the prison learning the history! So fascinating! I also learned about the Merci Train, boxcars given to each of the states as gifts from France after WWII. Idaho’s gifted boxcar was in one of the old factory buildings. I’d never heard of this gift before but you can look it up and find where each state’s boxcar resides. I am a Washingtonian as well and ours, I believe, is in Puyallup.

But IDK about the one w/ goat cheese in it. I milked goats as a kid and I have an aversion to anything goat milk related now. You are braver than I.
    Whaaaat? Even better than Tillamook?

      Hahahaha this made us laugh! 🤣 Goat cheese is something we recently started to like, but I don’t blame you for being over it lol! Our top ice creams so far are: Salt & Straw, Frankie & Jo’s, Jeni’s, and The STIL. I can’t eat Tillamook anymore because it has eggs in it 😫 but I do cheat sometimes 😉

    For all my years of trucking, I've only been through Idaho a handful of times. I'd love to visit it slowly. I've never in my 65 years heard of 'Basque' food. No ice cream in the world can outshine Yarnell's Real Vanilla. j/s

      We will have to give Yarnell's a shot to see for ourselves. And you should try the STIL, it is veryyy high quality 😃

    What part of Texas are yall from? I live in Austin and am looking for comparable cities in case my family and I ever decide to move out. Can you compare the two?

    • @AdventuresofAplusK
      @AdventuresofAplusK  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We are from Austin! Boise feels like Austin before it got big. When I first visited Boise in 2016, before we moved to Seattle (and lived in Austin at the time), the downtown area gave me smaller Austin vibes, with tree lined streets, local restaurants, etc. I really loved it! And we have been back a couple times since and continue to love Boise. The amount of nature close by is amazing and Idaho as a whole is gorgeous! Boise, from our understanding, is becoming more popular and getting more expensive though, similar to Austin. But for now, it seems to be keeping that smaller city vibe that Austin once had. I don't think Boise has the nightlife scene of Austin (we aren't nightlife people, so we cannot speak to that) and it does get colder in the winters (summers are hot!), but it seems like a great place to raise a family like Austin is. Hopefully that helps some!

      Only some ice cream has eggs in it! Some of our favorites like Salt and Straw and Jeni's don't use egg for most of their ice creams which is awesome! I try to always check and see beforehand. But if I have a little it'll just make my stomach hurt for a bit. Thankfully no death ;)
