Fun fact, apparently all the “new” Superman footage was stuff Snyder shot when he was originally shooting by the film. That actor did not have to come back to reshoot anything, so all the black suit Superman shots were stuff Snyder originally shot.
Yes! It was also shot using blue-red suit because the studio demanded no black suit. Snyder & crew had to recolour it for this release.

Tbh, Cyborg should be serious. He lost his parents. He is half machine and half human. People see him as a monster and he doesn't know how to fit in this world. An apocalyptic alien army has attacked with a much larger threat waiting for his turn(Darkseid). In a situation like this, he can't say "Booyah". He can't crack jokes. Atleast not now.
Best live action version of Cyborg I've seen is in Doom Patrol. Looks better, acts better, and is just portrayed better.
He was the same way in the original Teen Titans comics as well, his whole character arc in those was getting over the pain and trauma of becoming a cyborg and learning to move on.

I agree, this should be implemented to cyborg, not only to cyborg, specially to Barry Allen, because Barry is so goofy in the Theatrical cut, like nothing happened to his mother and it feels like his father is not in prison
I read that if HBO had serialized this, all the actor/production contracts would have had to be renegotiated, so Snyder/HBO decided to go with the bladder-burster 4hr run time
Well it's home video so viewers get to use a pause button, unlike watching a 4 hour movie in the cinema.

The other Justice League movie is not the original, that's J*ss Whed*n's version. This one is what Zack Snyder wanted to release but the studio didn't want to. This is the real deal. I'm very happy for him.

Just a side point: if you haven't seen th DC Animated films from Flashpoint Paradox to Apokolips War (in order!), you really, really should. Just keep kids out of the room. Animated does not mean kid friendly. At all.

I am so hyped for this movie. 100% on point with the LotR Extended Edition comparison, Return of the King is what? 5 hours long? And every moment is wonderful.
Yeah, each extended version of LotR was almost an hour longer than the equivalent theatrical cut. That's nearly 3 hours of additional film when taking the trilogy as a whole.

Loki didn't speak to Thanos in the first Avengers movie. He spoke to that one minion dude who was representing Thanos. I believe Thanos first appeared in the mid-credits scene of that movie though, but I don't think he said anything.

Only about 30mins of Snyder's footage was used in the Theatrical Cut and even that was heavily edited. Even the very first Comic-Con trailer was compromised so the amount of new stuff we are getting next month is staggering!
The fact that the Witch King breaking Gandalf’s staff was relegated to an extended cut and was not included in the theatrical was a travesty. I’ve got a feeling that this movie will have at least a couple moments like that.
We're also getting character development for everyone so there's that. You guys really should do a live watch-along for this movie. It's sucks cause I don't have patreon but would definitely be awesome nonetheless.

DC is meant to be dark and gloom. The reason people love Marvel is that it's kid friendly and it's happy. DC isn't like that. I love the doom and gloom of DC.

Lol, you're WAY OVERSIMPLIFYING things. DC isnt just all dark and gloom, have you watched or read the cartoons and comics? They have dark themes but they're not completely devpid of happiness. DC has well-integrated comedy in it. And Marvel? Kid-friendly? mCU has explored messed up things and the comics? Their comics were superdark as well.
People really do misinderstood this. Maybe what you mean is MCU is lighter and kid-friendlier not DCEU?
Marvel Comics and DC comic have both explored dark and mature stories.

You guys had the best reaction of ANY of the reaction videos. Almost everybody else had so obviously already seen spoilers & sneak peeks & tweets, so mostly any of the surprise was gone.
Thanos only appeared in the end credits of Avengers, Loki only spoke to the Other. You might also be remembering Thanos speaking to Ronan in Guardians of the Galaxy and mashing it together.
And also Darkseid didn’t appear in Joss Whedon’s Justice League, Steppenwolf only mentioned him
Also, Thanos was a completely different character in Guardians honestly. Don’t give Marvel too much credit lol

HBO Max wanted to do episodes and release one a week, but some of the actors contracts didn’t allow for episodic releases. So they have to do a movie.

Reports are saying that this movie will be in theaters as well as on HBOMax. Because of the runtime, the movie will have a ten-minute intermission as opposed to at-will pausing online that people at home will have.
I've only seen the theatrical cut of _Justice League_ once (in theaters) and it's not a movie I'd ever rewatch normally (not that I hate it, it just doesn't have rewatchable value) but I will be rewatching it right before watching the Snyder Cut, just to see what was kept, what was altered, and what is new. And also compare the two with both being fresh in my mind.
I recognize Zach.The scale is epic and the atmosphere is grim.We are waiting.

I love the Hey Peaches intro ( I subscribed because of that). If I'm going to sit during this 4 hour movie, it better be good (It's already better than Whedon's version...yep I said it). I hope Snyder lightens the look of it up just a bit. It was hard to see some of the scenes. I am a Cyborg fan too. I hope we see him kick butt. However, I think after his loss, he will be a bit serious. I guess I better rewatch the Whedon's cut so that I can compare it to the Snyder cut (even though the Snyder cut will be better...yep I said it again). Oh, and the Joker....yes please and thank you.

The Whedon Cut is the Theatrical Release that came out in 2017 with 85% of the film reshot and the 15% of Zack Snyder’s footage thrown in there. The Whedon Theatrical was 120 mins (2hrs), only 18 mins of that was Zack Snyder’s footage (According to Fabian Wagner, the original DOP of Zack Snyder’s Justice League). Zack Snyder’s Justice League is 240 mins (4hrs) containing no footage shot by Joss Whedon PERIOD. So that’s 222 mins (3.7hrs) of footage not seen before. Recently Zack did reshoots in 2020 which equated to an additional 5 mins of footage meaning that 217 mins of footage had already been shot for Zack Snyder’s Justice League back in 2016/2017 before Joss Whedon was brought on board for rewrite and reshoots by Geoff Johns and Execs. So in conclusion we will be getting a Justice League film with 3.7 hours of unseen footage and it WILL NOT include any footage shot by Joss Whedon.

I still feel the biggest disappoint coming from WBs more recent decisions was dropping the Ben Affleck Batman movie. So many people have read his treatment and reckon it was INSANE. Some of it was supposed to have been included in the RPatz one. But Ben in the suit was perfect.
I am so stoked for this cut, it already looks and the dialogue sounds 10x better than the one we got. I'm really hoping this opens the door for more Batfleck in some capacity because lets be real here, he's hands down the best Batman we've gotten

Snyder has said himself that if he released his version of JL back in 2017 it would have been a 100% compromised version, due to studio interference. This will be the film he originally intended to release.
