He was amazing in ever single Bond. Great personality and was certainly entertaining to watch him explaining how gadgets work to every Bond. Absolute legend and very sadly missed.
Oh how I miss the times of my teens; Desmond Llewelyn being me grandparents's generation and knew how to dress and not that bench alcoholic-look of today among people 65+. Shape up please. The protests of the '60s are long over. ;-P
Desmond liewelyn is the best q and always will be i love this episode of your life its a. Shame that we got messages from Roger Moore or Robert brown or Sean Connery and Louis Maxwell is my favourite mr Moneypenny
I don't think the person who put the clip compilations together watched the Bond films properly as I highly doubt Q was making gadgets for villains. Though that would have been pretty funny, I mean super villains probably pay better then MI6.
Sadly the worst product placement ever. So obvious it was all about the movie - if it hadn't been old 007's would have been there....guess they all knew exactly what this show was all about...
I was never that keen on Desmond Llewelyn RIP, although I loved Follyfoot, this was in the early 1970’s, as couldn’t get over Gillian Blake’s hair style, loved the late Arthur English, plus that theme tune was simply amazing, so nice to have also seen the late Lois Maxwell, didn’t like her in Bond, thought she was wonderful in the Adventures in Rainbow Country tv series as Nancy Williams around 1970 which was made in Canada, also loved Susan Conway who was once in The Forest Rangers tv services, also in Canada.
Why say a thing like that? Are you trying to offend, amuse, what? Please, tell us. I'm curious about the mindset of someone who would post that kind of thing. Give us an insight.
What a fabulous actor.A total legend. He signed his book to me when I met him
I have one signed by Charles Fraser Smith ( the real Q) & they actually look very alike.

It's a shame there were no recorded messages from Roger Moore or Sean Connery.
what was their age at the time this was recorded?
@@wintersun398 Roger was 68 and Sean was 65.
@@eamonnevans8005 they were quite ‘young’ then considering Connery died aged 90 and Roger aged 89.
I love that Pierce, despite being Bond himself at the time, continued to put the spotlight on Desmond when he came on.
Follyfoot, now that programme makes me feel old!!😮
The Best Q ever. Please upload THIS IS YOUR LIFE- David Tomlinson
What an incredible life. Thank you for uploading
This is very interesting and informative
every james bond should respect desmond they should of all been there even one time big fry man george
Oh how I miss the times of my teens; Desmond Llewelyn being me grandparents's generation and knew how to dress and not that bench alcoholic-look of today among people 65+. Shape up please. The protests of the '60s are long over. ;-P
Everyone will always miss Q. He was and still is irreplaceable. Pierce and Desmond developed a very close relationship while on bond.
its so sad connery or roger not there
I think they wanted to promote the new James Bond hence no messages from former Bonds.
A real shame wasn't it! Bringing out Fammke when they'd never even met...
Q - this is your life! Pay attention, Mr Bond (aka Remington Steele!)
It was basically a this is your life aimed at the bond franchise relaunch 🤔🙈🙉🙊
‘Bloody’?! On This Is Your Life?! 🙊
it was a shame we did not see roger or sean or even big fry lazenby
Desmond liewelyn is the best q and always will be i love this episode of your life its a. Shame that we got messages from Roger Moore or Robert brown or Sean Connery and Louis Maxwell is my favourite mr Moneypenny
Bond , James bond.3words ,why not 2 words, James bond.
Why didn’t any of the other bond actors turn up
Terrific & clever publicity for the then latest Bond movie ‘Goldeneye’
A shame that this episode just seemed to be an excuse to promote Goldeneye

Brosnan not my favourite Bond.Desmond Llewelyn a great actor😊

This episode got panned by the critics at the time .
shameless free advertising for a dying franchise .
That suit he's wearing looks like it got blown up on the battle field in World War I.
Mr brosnan was the best bond ever ,I love in the movie the relationship nd humour between them,
He walks like he's just pissed himself down his trousers.
He was 81 at the time.

Look into your own mindset if you could, and you will find there is plenty wrong there...
Why didn't you answer what I asked? Why did you try to change the subject to make it about me, when I was asking about you?

This is about you; it's all about you and how your mind works in perceiving things. You are all wrong.
