Regarding your take on OS vs NOS, it's interesting, my impression was quite in the opposite. I feel like OS is slightly more energetic, natural and transparent whereas NOS adds an additional layer of warmth and smoothness.
I recently bought one of these to go with my Edition XS headphones and just came across your video. What lovely descriptions of the sound this wonderful device makes, it can be exciting and involving one minute and, as you described, relax you the next. This is my end-game, I love this pair.

@@TheHonestAudiophile Hey I know this is a old response. I had a question about the switch at the bottom of the unit for voltage. Which setting should it be on and what would be the circumstance to switch that around. I wouldn’t want to accidentally fry something and I don’t know much about this

The Beyerdynamic Amiron home is one of the headphones I often wear when I read. Not because I like its sound profile best but because it is really comfortable.
Not at all. Completely different presentation. The Liberty is analytical and reference and the EF400 is everyday enjoyment. If I were to put a number on the EF400 comparative to the Liberty it would be about 80%.

If your in USA use 115v and if your in Europe use 230v.
Yes, you would need a pair of XLR cables.
I've not used or heard the A70 Pro.

It should match the type of voltage supplied to your house or office or wherever your device is located.

It helps with the comfort. It doesn't seem to alter sound that I recall but it's been a while since I used stock pads on my 8xx.

EF400 has a cleane presentation, better separation, better detail retrieval and resolution, more natural tone and timbre.

It has good power for those harder to drive headphones.
From where u bought the cable ?
I used the stock power cable provided in the box.
USB cablee were one of the random ones I had in the office.
