Straight No Chaser's 7-Length Win at Oaklawn Park!

Straight No Chaser was all business in yesterday's seventh race at Oaklawn Park. 🔥
The 4-year-old colt broke well from the gate under Johnny Velazquez and with only a few nudges put himself on the lead. Through a first-quarter fraction of 22.12, long shot #7 Ruggs tried to keep pressure along his outside but was never quick enough to truly contest Straight No Chaser. The first real threat came in the far turn as #8 Gar Hole loomed up while three-wide but Straight No Chaser and Velazquez had plenty in the tank, accelerating in the stretch to win by over 7 lengths!
