Star's Nerdy Corner part 7: This battle is not historically accurate as the Russians won historically, but the size difference is accurate as it was a 3 to 1 battle historically.
When in battles like this, i think scott shouldnt concentrate his forces but rather spread them out as that tactic has never worked. I think you should hollow out the sides of any hills and turn them into bunkers, which shouldnt be on the base itself but rather scattered around, as well as small foxholes and dig tunnnel systems leading to them, and also dig fake tunnels that lead into death traps (i.e a separate tunnel not leading into the base, but rather into a machine gun nest) the tunnels should never lead to the base directly as they would be destroyed easily. This will turn into a tunnel pretty quick, so they should place snipers strategically around to pick off anybody going into the tunnels. This is just an adjustment from an unproffessional, the rest of what scott did is good no changes there, just my opinion.
Funny how yesterday in a server I lead my team to advance quickly even when I played this new map. I lead the Russian team just in probably at least 15-10 minutes capturing. Maybe even less as I told my team to just charge and destroy at them. Good memory of this map.
Same to me bro in Second battle of Verdun I host a server(200max) and I command the German force, and make the French build a fort and trench as good as they can, and put 10 officers in Germany and 15 in French as we have no wall, There are no players to hide on the wall, and the French arti is a waste, cus we have no wall to hide and they call arti but we were digging a tunnel and hide there and after the arti call and when we charge. Every times we charge we capture an OBEJCTIVE! (note:the server was fair and the French decided to make fort bcs their Officer said so, and in my team I say no need fort bcs I they call it gonna be a waste,)
I have an idea, he should place hidden men into vacant house since they would be focused on the fortress itself, and then when the enemy gets close and past the houses they can fire from the back
Hey Scot everytime the Russians defend, they lost, and everytime they charge they lose and when they charge u make a good defend for the Russian enemy and when the Russian defend u make a shitty defend! When will u make them win?! Like they never win a fight
For beginners trying to make good hiding holes/trenches I recommend going my way (Vietnam style) make a hole dig down far and make a maze you can make as many tunnels as you want but keep it small and crammed so it’s hard to get through and make some of tunnels connected and some are not also make some of the tunnels reach to the surface so you can peep your head out thru multiple locations and if you got snipers on you you can go back in and peep thru another and / now the fun part when an enemy group comes to raid your trench go in and hide behind the walls moving swiftly thru the layout of your labyrinth taking them out 1 by 1 until their all dead and when you make the maze small as I said it will be harder for them to move thru it
For me I took a break from plastic Scot to watch history videos but now when I come back he always makes insane video ideas in entrenched and it’s awesome

Itcwould have been better to attack than defend the fort. With the decoy being defending while you smash out with recon, skirmishers, assault, flamers, amd rifleman stricking one by one.

Basically it's a thing where you dig as close to the un-diggable part as possible however you dig the diggable part right under then it will get rid of the upper part.
I’m not gonna lie but the fort you guys chose is actually perfect because of how to enter the fort which was that bridge and you did hardwire which does damage and added that with a river like the reason why you guys won was because of how you planned the fort and take advantage of the surrounding area.

Better plan in the beginning would just abandon the fortress when the Russians come in just encircle them and just swap the roles
