Hey there! The abbreviation mm Hg means millimeters of mercury. Mercury was used in the first accurate pressure gauges and is still used in medicine today as the standard unit of measurement for pressure.
mmHG is used for blood pressure… 51.7mmHg per 1psi Below 120/80mmHg is normal (2.32/1.54psi) and above 180/120mmHg means you're probly about to die (3.48/2.32psi).

I could watch and listen to that beautiful scary awesome engine ALL DAY , man that sounds great and the power is on tap purrs like you cute little putty cat thanks for sharing will definitely be watching this awesome build 🙂
I kept waiting for the truck to move, you should try, also saw you standing right where you said you shouldn't a couple of times. Remember, safety first.
That engine is insane!!!! You're right too, that thing is a little scary when you put some gas to it. On the second startup it looked like it wanted to fly off the back of the truck....LOL! Great video!
I remember pretty much everyone used to put a pressure tap into the muffler/tuned pipe of their RC engines to pressurize the fuel tank(s). The advantage of using a pressure tank I guess is that you don't need to prime the engine to get it to start. Those Kolm engines are amazing!
LOL. You still need to prime the engine. The pressure nipple only provides pressure to the tank when the engine is running. Not to point out the obvious, but...........
@CRASH ALEXANDER I can see how both are required, and your wording was accurate. I'm man enough to easily say that. No big deal. The exhaust nipple itself wouldn't supply fuel to the motor without the flexible pick up and the flexible pick would do nothing without the exhaust nipple. You got me, buddy. LOL. The mind can be a tricky thing early in the morning! Edit. I even went ahead and deleted that comment, maybe that'll help you can down. We don't need any blood pressure incidents. It's just TH-cam. You'll get over it, I hope? 😝😋😛😘
@CRASH ALEXANDER Yes, I read your post. I added the explanation that the motor won't provide pressure until it's running. Is that not okay? Should I have asked permission to explain a little further? It is a public comment section, after all. Isn't it? I could be mistaken again, I guess? WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING ABOUT EVERYTHING? It's not that big a deal, my friend. Take a breath, drink a Bud Light, and calm down. It'll be okay, I promise you. 🤪😜😘
I can't wait to see the build of the Strega. My uncle has the original P-51 from CARF and hoping we can modify it to fit one of these big boys. Scale 4 blade prop with electric start...... What a dream!
Jice piece of engineering. Genuine exhaust note. Great test rig, nicd & strong. I would put a mesh cage there too just to save accidentally chopping hand/nose, in-laws !!
That will be an awesome engine for this aircraft, so cool running, unbelievable nice, congratulations and success to let this airplane fly whit that engine, I am looking forward to this project, greetings from Remi 🥰

@@josephkerkau2520 Sure you could. You could build a B-25 and put a single vertical stabilizer on it too and there you go. You could build a B-25 and put a second wing in it and there you go. You could build a B-25 and put four EDFs under each wing in twin nacelles and there you go. You could build a B-25 and install wingtip floats, a turbine in the tail, and give it wing panels from an imperial tire fighter and there you go. I hear you, makes sense to me! In reality, though, if you want to put impressive horsepower in a B25, which used radial motors, you use large powerful radial motors, which are readily available and just as impressive. Think Moki. There you go!
Ohh Jeez! I remember this being delivered. This is well into the crossover between model and manned aircraft engineering. No doubt this would get a paramotor or ultralight airborne. These things sound great too. 🤔(so I’ve heard) edit: That DOES sound good! grinning like a big kid, love it. 😊
