A few weeks later I got thigh highs and wore the same outfit but with the socks and a guy sitting next to me wispered "Why did you wear a costume to school?" and i kinda just looked at him like -_- wtf. No it is cringey, and I don't really get the performance. It's cool to just cosplay, but adding a dance kinda made it weird because it was mostly just a lot of arm waving and hip shaking. But I give her a lot of credit for doing what she loves. It takes a lot of courage and determination to do that.
