What an awesome way to explore and see a country! You just have to to eat the street food. Aside from probably not having many other options, it is most accessible part of the culture. I ate my way across China and savored it.
Really, really nice documentary. Amazing what GH4 and GoPro in skilled hands can do. I would be very kind if you could share what gears did you use. And yes, I want to visit Vietnam too.
Goran Stepic I shot mostly with the Lumix 12-35 F2.8 lens and some w the 35-100 2.8. I had a small travel tripod. No fancy gear. Thank you for your nice compliments!
amazing video. glad you guys made it safely. Me and two friends are doing this adventure in about 2 weeks. we have a total of 10 days to make it except were doing it from Hanoi to ho chin minh city. do you think that is doable ? Also, what are some important things to bring with us?
Great video. I live in China, and i'm flying into Hanoi and motorbiking down to Ho Chi Minh City before crossing into Cambodia. Maybe I missed it, but how long did it take you guys?
The best editing travel video I ever come across. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, what a great job. Photography, script, narration, all top notch. Congratulations!
Terry - Great Vid! You captured Vietnam very well. It is a fantastic place and more people should visit.
Robert Thompson Thanks Bob. Vietnam was a fun trip and a rewarding film making project. Namibia is on my short list. Looks like you had fun there.
We run into groups riding Royal Enfields in Nepal. That would be a great trip also.
+Robert Thompson I would love to ride across Nepal.
Thank you! Your documentary helps me appreciate my country even more, makes me feel a little bit homesick too!

Gorgeous video Terry and Scott. Seems like you took your life in your hands with some of that oncoming traffic!
Stuart Watson Thank you for taking a look Stuart and for the kind words, How is your film coming along?

+A Sleww Sorry for the late reply. How was your trip? Of course 10 days is not enough time. What did you end up cutting out?
Really nice documentary, expect the bit when you said south china sea...
Did I make a mistake?

4 weeks total but we were not in a big hurry.
Whats the agency you used to rent the bikes?
+Rob Flamingo Travel. You can rent either in Saigon or Hanoi and you will have phone support along the way for when the inevitable break downs occur.
Thanks very much! Just watched the film and it's brilliant. I'm heading off in a couple of weeks to Hanoi and can't wait.
awesome
