Had an ex gf that this absolutely applies to. Dated in college, broke up because it was toxic for both of us. Any frickin time we met at a party, wedding, whatever… that happened. Finally got out of that stupid cycle when I met my (now) wife, but it almost became a joke amongst are mutual friends. “Oh J and A are here, well we know where this is going”. No guys, not this time… happened every damn time. Pretty girl, very funny, but it just didn’t work. Something was missing.
