so two things i would change. there’s no sheath, what if a child walks into your office and finds an open blade sitting there? that’s a dramatic example but i feel like it’s still valid. it would be cool if it fit into a paperweight or something similar as a desk knife. the other thing is this is clearly a japanese kiridashi marking style knife which is similar to a tanto style knife and what make those knives useful is that there’s more than one tip. you have the obvious tip but the heel of the blade on the kiridashi is also a tip so that you have one for push cuts and one for pull cuts. on a tanto you also have two tips because a majority of cuts are pull cuts it saves the main tip from wearing down so that it is easier to penetrate materials. on this knife the second tip doesn’t look very pronounced.
