whoa!!!! there is a video for conqueror... as in... an official "Kiuas" certified video of "Conqueror"... at the moment it's appearing as the 1st video on the right under the "related videos". hope you find it... it's got a little kid in it btw...
@diaryofthedead you would be correct, in the megadeth elements, this song does have some thrash/prog influences, but describing Kiuas are a whole i would say they are a power/prog band with thrash and melodic death influences.
Holy shit. I just found this song a few days ago through The Algorithm, and what a nostalgia trip this comment section is. Y'all remember when all comments were top-level?
@Om3gaDeath Allow me to quote Mikko when talking about the song "Aftermath" "We have ben called powermetal before, but i am sure, that whoever hears this song, will NEVER call us powermetal again."
@darkaurasinner Indeed Slayer is the best thras metal band in the world, but the three first metallica cds where fucking awesome, that cant be argued with.
idk i hear alot of thrash in this in fact theres alot of megadeth elements in this song and then goes into a power metal sound you are right i like you description but i still personally hear thrash
@EsoterikSurgery The cower was awesome, and the tribute they made to Dimebag (Bleeding strings) is even more so, besides, this band with it original member is still better than pantera ever was.
i might get thumbs down to this and i dont intend it as an insult but does anyone else heare a dave mustaine and megadeth influence? this album is amazing truly i love it
@TiikerinKarva Ilja's vocals are awesome, when its all deep it sounds the same, and growl just sucks, Ilja has a very unique voice which is why hes so awesome and so good.
I have listened to a good handful of songs by this band on ytube and the only complaint is that the singer is always too far back in the mix. Shame because I like his vocals.
Kiuas is Power Metal actually, and if you wanna talk about Thrash, Sodom and Kreator are the best bands, no Metallica. And if you don't believe me just ask any True Metalhead thar is really into Thrash and know bands from Dark Angel to Evile. And btw only Thrash Metal albums by Metallica are the first 4 albums, the BA and DM are Heavy Metal, Load and Reload are Hard Rock and St. Anger is Shitty Nu Metal so you can´t even compare Metallica with real Thrash Metal bands.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!
Kiuas
Is

wdym? I thought they disbanded??
One of the best riffs ever discovered! \m/ And this band is one reason to be proud that im from Fin-fucking-land

They did make a video for Conqueror!
So sad they're no longer making music!
Didn't they reunite?
These guys needs to take hold of Savatage's torch..very impressive...Loved their Dimebag tribute cover of 'this love'
They did make a vid for it.
Who came from a video featuring “kiuas” by Polaventris and wasn’t expecting this?
Tää on vaan niin eeppinen
@Anuku "Blessed are those who write their own scriptures, for they shall be kings of the new world"
Iljaa tulee ikävä kyllä. Ei voi muuta sanoo.
Does anyone know what he's singing right in the beginning, before the cleans come in? I can't make it out for the life of me.
Holy shit. I just found this song a few days ago through The Algorithm, and what a nostalgia trip this comment section is. Y'all remember when all comments were top-level?
tää on kyl vitun hyvä biisi kiuas best
Across the Snows has Finnish verses. They're haunting by themselves...the translations make it even more so.
@Om3gaDeath Allow me to quote Mikko when talking about the song "Aftermath" "We have ben called powermetal before, but i am sure, that whoever hears this song, will NEVER call us powermetal again."
siis ihan fuckin hienoo musaa
I thought this song was called "of ancient wounds"?
Kiuas, you guys rule the fucking world of metal. please tour the US. haha.
\m/
fucking love this band!!!
i have nothing to add to this comment except my approval of it.
fuck yea dude, kalmah is insane, check out wintersun if you havent already or storm warrior or battle master
@Temetsekki i'd be standing next to you yelling "DO A FLIP!"
@Temetsekki ME TOO!!!
i dont i just said that as an understatement
@Temetsekki Question!,. Who the fuck are Tokio Hotel?.. I'm serious I have never heard of them :)
Slayer begins again?
if tokio hotel was ready to jump off a eight-floored house, I would be in the front, eating popcorns and shouting JUMP! JUMP! JUMP!
Intro sounds just little like Opeths' 'The grand conjuration'.
im not saying the whole song would sound like it just at some points he has a similar tone to mustaines voice
after watching this i sure will XD
@candykisses713 well said
OMG that cameraman needs to learn how to hold a camera. MOTION SICKNESS! anyway. this band kicks ass.
@darkaurasinner Indeed Slayer is the best thras metal band in the world, but the three first metallica cds where fucking awesome, that cant be argued with.
@amarth23 don't even bother mate. you don't want to know them

i thought tokio hotel was the most overrated in the world
Terrible cover of This Love on the Metal Hammer CD..
crappy video, good song.
jesus and his crowd deslike this
I'm part of the Jesus crowd yet must say this is extraordinarily well done.
