As 😊 11:02 as a former nuclear, submarine sonar technician noise and vibration has been my life in the last 40 years in a factory environment so I find this very interesting thank you Brian the Highlander about two weeks, the Highlander😊
I installed the $45 weatherstrip kit and got a 40% reduction in high frequency noise making low frequency more noticeable. Essential to ensure weatherstrip actually touches both surfaces which it does NOT following the instructions. Test the seal with a thin card to see if it’s actually touching. Only one video showed the correct install method. Also, cover the glass roof from the inside since it acts like a reflector increasing cabin noise. Too bad we are forced to have a glass roof which after my 3rd Tesla has proved so useless that I covered it in chrome wrap on the outside to eliminate radiant heat beating down on my head.
Brian, on the shareholder vote 3 and 4 are yes. What about the rest of the votes are there any you see as important to vote for or against? Thanks! I don't know enough about a lot of the info that is why I"m asking.
I believe the 3db change is a doubling or halving of power. One needs a 10x power change for doubling/halving of loudness. This is for speaker amplification, but should be applicable.
Honestly, I have over 120,000 miles on my Tesla, and now my battery has failed. Tesla is charging me $15,000 for a new large battery. This is absolutely ridiculous, and I am furious with Tesla. What on earth is going on?
@FutureAZA at 5:52 the camera wag...hilarious and also respectful...your sense of humor scores 5/5.
Entirely accidental, but I'll take it!

Great info, thanks!
Damn I want to do the insulation. I already love how much noise is reduced by the M3 Highland.
I can't stop thinking about it.
All this sounds nice, but how much weight does it add?
Any mention of Tires?
The 3db noise reduction how do you hear it with when the audio system on?
A lot of good this system does for me in the US.
There are companies in the US that do this, but I'm struggling to find one to check out. I'll keep you guys posted as soon as I find one.
Dead Silent... better cover than Silent but Deadly 😂
Like a fart

Tesla has their recommendations, but you should read up on them and decide what you think makes the most sense.
2:25 - A European with a Cybertruck tattoo!!?? I guess if the Cybertruck never gets to Europe, he will be really disappointed.
Noise down. Fire safety? Curious
-11db = 50% reduction?
In my book 3db = 50% ??

0:19 hmm, Boomer-Momma is THYCK!

IMO tattoos are like scribbling with crayons over a masterpiece, I think God might agree.
Agreed
Be cautious in speaking on behalf of God. He might not judge you for it, but others will.

You've never heard of a car dying? Be real. My Chevy Venture died at 120,000 too, but I was mildly annoyed because, you know, I'm an adult.
All Teslas should come with hearing protection as standard, as a minimum with some ultra light foam ear plugs (good for fuel efficiency). Easy fix
Noise-cancelling ear buds make an improvement and are a lot less work!
