    I spent 50 years as an equestrian. Anyone should probably think twice about marrying a serious rider. You will never see your wife, your house will look like a tack shop, and your cars will smell like dirty saddle pads.....and you will be broke.

      Some dentists make a lot of money, and some make a lot less. My dentist doesn't do any unnecessary work, or cosmetic work that he doesn't feel experienced enough to create a good result with, and told me he doesn't make a great living, which surprised me. He dissuaded his son strongly from pursuing dentistry, despite his son's desire and skills w/ his hands and intelligence, bc of the money. Apparently, if you don't do a lot of over-drilling that too many dentists do nowadays, the pay is not great. That's relative, tho.

If she took the spear off the wall as claimed, any normal person would have realised that negotiations were over and left the scene in a hurry... instead he takes out his pocketknife and 'accidentally' surgically slashes her throat while she jabs at him once with a spear? what was wrong with that jury??

      @@finwefingolfin7113 So he planned her killing while only carrying a little pocket knife and none of the many guns he owned? He could have easily brought a gun with him and then used that in 'self defense' but didn't because...?
      Also he stabbed himself not once but TWICE about 6 inches deep?? You CLEARLY do not have ANY compression of how painful a knife wound(spear wound in this case) is, neverminded one 6 inches deep. I could see an agreement about it if he was only stabbed once - because up until that point you don't know exactly how painful its going to be and the pain is merely phycological not physical. But once that kind of wound pain registers VERY FEW people on the entire planet have the mental fortitude to go through it again, but I'm suppose to believe an out of shape 50 year old dentist could do it? Never mind that he also nearly died from his wounds as well.
      Look, I think he probably killed her after disarming her i.e. he was guilty of manslaughter. But first degree murder? No. The state did not prove that "beyond a shadow of doubt" which need I remind you, is what is required BY LAW.

    The fact that her blood pattern showed she was cut while on the floor negates anything else. It is likely Greg was induced to stab Kirk with the spear after she was dead. How was his blood on top of her DRIED blood? That indicates a time lapse between her injuries, which HAD to come first and his injuries, which occurred later. He is absolutely guilty.

    I think Greg and Kirk concocted Jennifer's demise.
    He made an excuse to get near her (Greg), prepared an explanation for her alleged aggression (documents he brought with him), used his expertise to lethally attack her and stage an attack upon himself, and sealed the deal with his social status and some top-notch lawyers.
    Many cheating husbands have clumsily attempted to get rid of their ex-partners. Kirk was intelligent enough to think this through.
    Sounds guilty AF, at least of manslaughter.

    It seems to me that Kirk called his friend Greg to come over as he knew he could not handle his wife without help. He likely had Greg carefully use the spear on him after they killed her. Between the time she was dead and the police were called they were busy setting up the crime scene. They planned on getting away with murder, and they did. That was either a kangaroo court or the prosecutor didn’t do his job right. No way that a jury could come to this conclusion if the facts were laid before them accurately.

Considering that she wounded him in the groin, there was a distinct possibility that she had hit a major artery, making it very possible that he would pass out soon. He had to use such force that would render her unable to make further attacks after he became unconscious.
    Second, a potential factor not mentioned is the extreme emotional attachment which horse devotees (especially females) have with respect to their access to their horses. The proposal to force the sale of the farm might have triggered her into a rage and thus, the attack.

The fees for crowns, implants, etc include the 50% laboratory fee to make them, so while they are profitable, they're not that profitable. However if a dentist decides to overcharge insurance, Medicare, or claim to do certain procedures he/she doesn't perform then that can generate a lot of money. I'm just questioning if there was fraud going on.

Also, my husband's cousin is a dentist, in San Francisco, and he makes that much - EASILY - and is ABSOLUTELY NOT, EVEN REMOTELY, COMMITTING FRAUD! Nout everyplace is like wherever you live; in fact, aa MANY, MANY PLACES ARE ALOT LIKE WHERE I LIVE. I think that it just, probably, depends, very, very much, upon where one lives, how much mosh those in certain professions make. Even those who have just, basic, simple jobs - even minimum wage jobs, make VERY DIFFERENT amounts in different states! In California, for example, minimum wage workers made, at least, $15.00 per hour, for many years longer than it was even required, by law, in many other states. There are Federal min wage laws, but, individual states can, also, and do, make amounts that are higher than the federal, simply because of cost of living differences. When I heard, about 5 years ago, what the minimum wage was, in Virginia, in Missouri, in Michigan, I was FLOORED!! No one, here, would have worked for that, and haven't even been asked to do so, since more than 10 years earlier!
      Also, BTW, FAST FOOD WORKERS, SINCE APRIL, HERE, IN CALIFORNIA, MAKE $20.00 PER HOUR, BY LAW.

If he was practicing full time as a dental surgeon specializing in extractions, implants, and root canals, it is not impossible to believe that he earned 600 thousand a year since those procedures cost patients easily thousands of dollars. A few years ago, I was told by a salesperson of a local manufacturer of crowns that they usually cost the dentist a few hundred dollars for a crown, and the dentist turns around and charges the patient 1500 for one. How come the jury had no problems with the fact that her fingerprints weren’t on the spear? Odd

    So Greg was there to pick up his tools and Kirk just happened to be with him to help. But Kirk had paperwork on him that he handed over to his wife.
    Who was the judge on this case that allowed all these details to just float past the jurors?

      Maybe he wanted a witness present in case she flipped out. What you are suggesting is not evidence anyway.

      @amyp66 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well by those rules maybe she would have liked a witness also. If you want a witness go to a lawyers office.

    I live in the town where dentist Colin Howell lived and murdered his wife and the husband of his lover. He got away with it for years until a crisis of conscience caused by the death of his son finally made him take responsibility for his actions. He hid behind the facade of being a good, Church-going family man. Pillar of the community and all that bull.

    If Kirk should be considered guilty, he must be given tons of cred for preparations. The two letters in question were superbly aimed at raising the anger in an equestrian woman, trying to defend her alimony and property. Her grabbing a conveniently placed spear (placed by whom?) in order to stop the steal, so that the male, being the stronger individual, might be able to retrieve his pocket knife, stabbing the spouse and finishing his business.
    A real Agatha Christie script. Who knows what really went down? We can only speculate.

    "Hell Hath, No Fury Like a Woman Scorned."
    I think the wife did in fact attack him when he confronted her with the evidence of her infidelity.
    And I'm just saying if someone came at me with an 8-foot steel tipped spear, I would do everything within my capacity to end the threat.
    It's just a shame that it was from someone that I once loved, married and had children with.

    These tales you speak about...Just seem to get more and more depraved...With horrifying that are hard to believe exist outside of a cheap horror movie, but the fact you speak the truth...Speaks volumes as to how low and sadist people really are getting...And have been! Peace

      I find it difficult to believe that she appeared to be sufficiently worried for her own safety that she took multiple precautions in her own home, but didn't have so much as a handgun with her when meeting her soon to be ex somewhere less than a public place with lots of potential witnesses. Lots of things about this meeting don't add up.

    • @actually5004
      @actually5004 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@tdm7676 Buying a handgun when you're premeditating raises red flags, however, so it makes sense why she wouldn't buy one- it wasn't about her safety.
