what i did to get rid of fog off both my home world and expansion world, was instead of turret creeping to them, i just had a missile battery of 38 missile turrets, planted a signal tower to cover half the base, and let the missiles fly. if you want cannon support, do a portable style with a small storage box feeding them. this is far less resource intensive then doing turret creep would be.
@@Phuocinh90 Nilaus gave up on his first start. His TH-cam video on max is at least his 3rd attempt at it and after watching someone else fail at it. I think Kalen did pretty well.

You can burn off the dark fog debris as you call it in thermal generators to get rid of it.
