As a recent convert to the 92 series, I can totally agree. I happen to be fortunate to have hands that are very well suited to the grip width and trigger reach, making the 92 series feel like a custom fitted setup right out of the box. The recoil is far more comfortable and predictable compared to my previous choices, making target reaquisition on second and subsequent shots that much faster and more accurate. Add in the decades of proven reliability, near maintenance free operation and the ease of cleaning, and my 92 has quickly moved to the front of the pack when I am standing at the safe, choosing what to carry.
Me too I'm a huge Beretta fan the 92 was one of my first pistols I still have mine I'm saving up for the centerian in this vid I can't wait to get my hands on one 😁💪
You have to be the only reviewer under 50 on TH-cam who has as many or more DA/SA pistols (and regularly carries them) than striker-fired pistols. Thanks for reminding me of just how many choices in both pistols AND action types there were in the late 20th Century. :)
It's great to see Beretta 92 variants coming from different places like Wilson. Even though I own several striker fired pistols, overall I still prefer the 92A1 I've tuned a little, Sig P226 and 1911 platforms. If I had to have only one pistol it would be a Beretta or Sig. Luckily in America we can have what we want pretty much.
I got the Action Tuned version. Definitely a lighter & smoother DA trigger pull than my M9A3. This Wilson Combat is currently my favorite handgun that I own.
Hard to imagine anything made by Beretta then "finished" by Wilson Combat that is anything but great. If you then give the trigger the Langdon touch . . .
Great review! Been carrying and shooting variants of the Beretta 92 since the mid 1990s. This one has all the features to make it the perfect 92 (for me anyway). Eyeballing this one for a while now. Pretty sure I've gotta have it.
I do love Beretta 92's and when hear Wilson combat coming out with there custom versions i had to get one right away. I got myself the 92g brigadier and i love it! But i'm so temped to buy this version also! great videos!
Content like this is what makes this my favorite channel. I always stop what I’m doing when a new video comes out. This is a legit 92, but I think Mr. Langdon has created the ultimate 92. Can’t wait to see a comparison video! Also, what about a review of the Sig P2022? Seems like it should be compared to the Beretta Px4 Compact and the CZ P-07.
Chris great review and I couldn’t agree more spend the little extra and get wilson trigger job or the Langdon trigger in a bag or you will really be missing out on how great this pistol is!
I like my P01 regular better than the Omega for some reason but doing a series on CZ would be great. The SP-01 might give the Beretta 92 a run for it's money. #CZLIFE
I like my CZ-75 PCR but the double action is HARD & I usually double tap for some reason when I first get to the range; probably because the double to single transition is so pronounced.
I wish they would make a M9A3 compact version, as that would be a really exceptional compact pistol. That or the Wilson Compact Carry again. THIS is what I really want. :)
Get the best of both worlds. I am not a big fan of the LTT slide/frame or VZ grips. Sold it and I bought a Wilson combat centurion with no action tune and installed LTTs NP3 trigger job in bag. Wilson’s slide work is phenomenal and the trigger job Langdon provides is the best on the market. I modified the barrel and some other aesthetics and now I feel I have one of the best berettas out there. Great video, thanks for the detail, this helped in my decision making.
Came across this video so I had to add my 2 cents 😃. A few months ago I went to my local gun store to purchase the Beretta M9A3, a firearm that I’m very familiar with, since a good friend of mine owns and I have close to 600 rounds in it myself. The salesman showed me the Centurion with the De-cocker, and the Wilson Combat trigger job. It fit my hand like a glove so I forgot all about the M9A3 and walked out with this Badass . Very happy with my purchase. Now I was looking at the Wilson Combat EDC x9 and I’m wondering if I should spend the money since this firearm is similar to it except for the DA/SA. Just my thoughts and civilized comments are welcome.
Amazing Pistols! Great craftsmanship, super smoooth (Wilson Combat). I bought both (Brigadier, V Centurion) just because they r plain Beautiful !!! The rest is just a weekend bonus for me...
I scored an used Centurion for $350 from a guy on PFC. It does shoot a little differently but also it's a bit more comfortable to carry. Not much easier to hide (or it might be for some folks) but you've got less barrel/slide there to dig into you or catch on stuff.
I was going to buy a Beretta as my first handgun, but I wanted a 92 Compact XL so to speak. I compact grip frame, because it fits my hand wonderfully, and a full 5" barreled slide assembly. I was discouraged when I learned that didn't exist, and I couldn't just slap a full slide in a compact grip because the slide and frame cuts were different.
Oh man, I've been thinking hard about one of these. Though I'm gonna have to contact Wilson and see if they can perform this treatment using the slide from a Centurion 92D, double-action-only, which is my favorite configuration for the shorter gun. The stock trigger is already sooo smooth and light, and with the bobbed hammer and clean slide, no safety to clutter up the lines, it's gorgeous. And if they can sprinkle their magic dust on that already great trigger, well... And I agree with what's said around 3:30, about how it shoots; it's hard to quantify, but it's different and just better than the full-sized gun. Just like the Glock 19X and G45, with the G19's compact slide on a G17 full-sized frame. It's funny, at first everyone said 'it makes no sense, it's so stupid, no one will buy them', and then the 19X wildly outsold everyone's expectations, to the point that Glock wisely rolled out the G45... And I own both of them! Though I confess I only got the 19X because I love the FDE color, and that it has no front serrations. Like the Centurion and Kat Dennings, it's just a little unconventional, but DAMN it looks good!
You should do a review on the Chiappa M9 9mm, which is identical to this Beretta. The fit and finish is excellent on the gun inside and out (no tool marks to be found) and is very accurate right out of the box. A friend of mine bought one and I liked it so much that I bought one and do not in any way shape or form regret it, and have plugged it into my small stable of EDC guns. At about $350.00 the Chiappa is about a third or more less than the Beretta in this video and shoots just as good! And...as for me...it does not have that stupid rail on the bottom!
Could you do some videos about the very basics of pistol shooting such as what grip you should have and what good form should look like. I really want to get into pistol shooting but I just don’t know where to start.
Thanks for making the size comparison to the Glock 92 to allow a return to carry reality. However, I bet this pistol is like the Dan Wesson Guardian Commander in that it feels great. gets back on target, and shoots great....sometimes making the extra weight worth it (the Guardian is most likely lighter due to the aluminum frame. Thanks, sir.
My 1st gun was a 92 Centurian. All I did was buy a Hogue grip for it back in the early 90's. I bought it from a Co worker for $325.00. It shot anything I ran through it. Talking about a shooter?😁😁 I traded it in for a XD40 service model. BIG MISTAKE. I carry a Glock 17 on the job now. Sig and Berreta is all I want to know about now and MAYBE I'm looking into S&W generation- 3 6909? Berreta next generation pistols are worth a look-see.
Chris, so I don’t know if you owned both at the same time but from a fast/accurate follow-up shot standpoint which was better for you? The Beretta/WC Centurion or the Sig P229 Legion?
Thanks for the reply. I think both are great options but I do love the low mass slide on the Beretta. Not only does it seem like it’d have less felt recoil but it just looks more sleek. I’d love to see some CZ’s on your channel. Maybe some that have been tuned CZ Customs or Cajun Gun Works. I’m particularly fond of the SP-01 Tactical and Phantom models.
I would get a 92(G) Compact with Trijicon HD or something similar. Basically, this gun in the video but with a compact grip as well. I don’t think Wilson does the 92(G) compact anymore.
I'd love to see you do a comparison, using standard timed drills + high speed video of similarly set up standard, brigadier, and centurion 92s. I've got a centurion which I like but I shoot the standard better without question, wonder what benefit the centurion has over the compact
I have on order from Wilson Combat a 92 G Vertec Centurian. Its been on back order for some time now but Iam told it should be in within 2 weeks or so. I plan on using it for my CCW???? Will I be happy with it or is it just too heavy to carry???? Also what holster would you recommend for it??? It has to be concealable.
I will play devil's advocate here. I like to stick with one type of "shooting platform". There are many advantages to sticking with something like a 5" barreled 1911 (or the 4.25" Commander size), including the fact that you can buy a variety of holsters for that "model" and they will work across the spectrum of manufacturers (i.e. Colt, Ruger, S&W, Taurus, etc., all make a 1911). When you get into guns with shortened barrels/slides and then add a rail to the bottom, you are going to find it difficult (and expensive!) to buy the holsters. For my 1911s, I can choose between the Bianchi 111 cyclone crossdraw, #19 thumbsnap, #2 standard, Galco Fletch, and quite a few others. In other words...I have a dozen holsters that I can use with ANY 1911 (except for the Sig) in my collection. It's nice to have choices of handguns AND gunleather.
Ann Lee with the Wilson trigger job the double action trigger pull is AMAZING! Mine is in the 6lb range with no stacking and absolutely no grit, it is really nice and that’s coming from a high end 1911 trigger guy.
I love the 92’s...always have.
No beating the feel of the 92 in your hand and during live fire exercise.
Me too I'm a huge Beretta fan the 92 was one of my first pistols I still have mine I'm saving up for the centerian in this vid I can't wait to get my hands on one 😁💪
Plus the name "Centurion" is cool, that's a big plus in my book.
You have to be the only reviewer under 50 on TH-cam who has as many or more DA/SA pistols (and regularly carries them) than striker-fired pistols. Thanks for reminding me of just how many choices in both pistols AND action types there were in the late 20th Century. :)

Yep I need one of these. I can’t get enough of this channel.
I’ve been winter carrying a 92D centurion with the bobbed hammer. I like it a lot. Also 19 rounds total of Fed HST is a confidence booster.
Great review! Been carrying and shooting variants of the Beretta 92 since the mid 1990s. This one has all the features to make it the perfect 92 (for me anyway). Eyeballing this one for a while now. Pretty sure I've gotta have it.
Thanks a lot, Chris! Now I have ANOTHER gun on my wish list.
I have a Wilson Combat/Beretta Brigadier Tactical. The thing is amazing. Beretta does a phenomenal job on them. The Centurion looks excellent as well.
Beretta quality is second to none..
I do love Beretta 92's and when hear Wilson combat coming out with there custom versions i had to get one right away. I got myself the 92g brigadier and i love it! But i'm so temped to buy this version also! great videos!
I absolutely love the 92 and all Berettas, I'm a huge Beretta Fanboy lol
And you're right, when a company produces firearms for 492 years knows its stuff.
I have the same one and this thing is accurate and not one hiccup. 1200 Rds no issues at all. Love this thing.
Just got one with the trigger upgrade, WOW, awesome pistol is all that needs to be said, keep up the good work wilson combat
Que belleza.
Just picked one of these up this morning.SWEET pistol. Nice addition o the collection
How much?
@@blonded3598 we got it used for $1100
Content like this is what makes this my favorite channel.
I've been expecting Sig to drop the P2022 from their lineup any day now. It's a nice gun, though.
Chris great review and I couldn’t agree more spend the little extra and get wilson trigger job or the Langdon trigger in a bag or you will really be missing out on how great this pistol is!
Just ordered ammo from you guys today. Thanks for the good deals and fast shipping!!!
You should do a series on some CZ variants, namely the classic steel frame line up, the P01 (and Omega) and the polymer P07/9.
I like the Omega's decocker/safety shape. I like to rest my thumb on the safety.
CZ double action is usually smooth hmmm. but the PCR is a nice pistol, I love CZs
Love my P-07s! :)
Best gun channel on TH-cam
This action tuned WC Beretta is my first Beretta...to be honest, it's the sweetest handgun I've ever shot...
Been waiting for this one, Chris. Good video hoss.
I wish they would make a M9A3 compact version, as that would be a really exceptional compact pistol. That or the Wilson Compact Carry again. THIS is what I really want. :)
Paul Schlaffer Ernest Langdon has heard and answered the call for all the compact lovers out there. Just go to his website Langdon Tactical.
Rick
Get the best of both worlds. I am not a big fan of the LTT slide/frame or VZ grips. Sold it and I bought a Wilson combat centurion with no action tune and installed LTTs NP3 trigger job in bag. Can't wait to see your & other reviews of the LTT. It's on my wishlist.
Love my WC Centurion, excellent shooter and yes it is a viable carry option.
Can u give any iwb holster options?
For me, it’s hands down the best handgun I have ever used.
I will be getting for my next carry gun the px4 compact carry based on the lucky gunner review.
Cynical Texas Dad If you can swing it, spend the extra money and get a Mod 4 or 5 straight from Robar with their NP3 coating on the interals.
Big Beretta Fan!!! Good Review Bro.
Amazing Pistols!

Another excellent vid. And I just finished ordering 1000 Fiocci 115gr at a price less than reloading myself!
I just fell in "love"with all 3 Italians. M9A3, M9A1- Centurion (LAPD-Specified), M9A3- .22LR "Combat- Trainer series with 7-15 round magazines.
🎉Thank you so much‼️
Thanks, very nice video, well done and great information.
I still love my 92a1
Raghnall Mac Aodh I have 3 of them. They're a nice option between a standard 92FS and one of the $1000+ models.
Love my 92s, but these are out of my price range. Dream gun for me
I have an Elite LTT on order. I should have it within a couple weeks!
nakinate how much did it cost you?
It's $999 but I added on a trigger job from Ernest Langdon which put it at $1164. You can check it out at www.langdontactical.com

I have the Centurion and it’s the best Beretta I ever owned. I sold all my Glocks afterwards.
Sealteam7 sold your glocks, big deal
You should do a review on the Chiappa M9 9mm, which is identical to this Beretta. Love my Brigadier 92!
I'm a fan of the 92 mod. So I love this gun 👍
I got mine yesterday...I got mine yesterday!!!!!
Review the 92D!
I have one and luv it....cheers
I love both Beretta and Wilson Combat, because Massad is based as f. Also the 2nd Beretta I bought and my daily carry for winter.
Sick pistol! I would get the compact inox now that’s a beauty
How does this one stack up against the Wilson Combat 92 Compact you reviewed? The Compact is my favorite of the Wilson Compact series.
Nice Solid Review!!! :-)
Too sad that Beretta doesn't produce the "Stock" Model any more - the Version with a Frame mounted 1911-Style Safety
They do if you want them.
The new 92x performance has that
Taurus produces it.
So cool.
Great video!
Great review! What holster are you using in this video?
Great review a little out of my price range but I may send my compact in
Having front serrations and a short reach trigger added would make it the ultimate 92 in my opinion.
Could you do some videos about the very basics of pistol shooting such as what grip you should have and what good form should look like. I really want to get into pistol shooting but I just don’t know where to start.
Thanks
How do you like this compared to your Wilson Combat 92 Compact Carry? My CC is still my favorite of the 92 and WC series.
Would you choose a standard Beretta over a standard CZ-75? If yes why?
As always great video!
Beretta. Among other reasons, the standard CZ doesn't have a decocker and I prefer DA/SA over cocked and locked.
CZ SP-01 Tactical has a decocker and is DA/SA might want to compare that to the Beretta, would like to know your opinion.
So beautiful.
Thanks, sir.
would you do a full video on the brigadier tactical?
Love the 92 series! Just waiting for something in my price range first! Lol
Get a rich girl friend or a super-model wife.
I had to replace the rear battle sight with a target sight because the battle sight is not ajustable. The trigger is great but the gun is very snappy.
Can you make video about semi-auto magazine fed shotgun? Does it good enough for home-defense?
My 1st gun was a 92 Centurian. All I did was buy a Hogue grip for it back in the early 90's. I bought it from a Co worker for $325.00. It shot anything I ran through it. Talking about a shooter?😁😁 I traded it in for a XD40 service model. BIG MISTAKE. I carry a Glock 17 on the job now. Chris, so I don’t know if you owned both at the same time but from a fast/accurate follow-up shot standpoint which was better for you? The Beretta/WC Centurion or the Sig P229 Legion?
I haven't shot them side by side, but I'd say it probably has 99% to do with the skill of the shooter and what platform they're used to.
Details on what appendix holster you were running?
JM Custom Kydex
I would get a 92(G) Compact with Trijicon HD or something similar. Basically, this gun in the video but with a compact grip as well. I don’t think Wilson does the 92(G) compact anymore.
Could you also do a video on the hkp30 since it had a 300 dollar price drop
Maybe. I like those guns.
I'd love to see you do a comparison, using standard timed drills + high speed video of similarly set up standard, brigadier, and centurion 92s. I've got a centurion which I like but I shoot the standard better without question, wonder what benefit the centurion has over the compact
4 more rounds
is that a steel or aluminum grip? is it an all steel gun?
Whoah, new end music.
What holster are you using?
I want one!!!
Do the vertex centurions for sale on Wilson’s website for $1449 include the slick action trigger job?
Yes
what holster are you wearing it appendix with?
What holster was used for this video?
Ottimi servizi!!! Peccato non ci siano sottotitoli in italiano!!! 😉🖒
What holsters would you recommend to cc one of these bad boys? All I can find is ones on wilson's website and I prefer AIWB.
I'm pretty sure it will fit anything made for the 92A1 Compact (or any 92 compact with a rail).
Chuck P vertecs are ugly
Is it drop safe? Or does it have a floating firing pin like a 1911?
Hey, what the heck... this video didn't show up in my subscription videos.
3:20 Why would you say 6/10th and not 3/5ths?
Probably because 6/10th makes people think 60 percent faster than 3/5ths
Can u give any holster options for this gun??
Elite LTT or the Wilson Combat, which is better???
This is the quintessential 92.
The Centurion fits the holsters I have for railed full size 92s. And the non-railed models fit as well.
Need one
Could it accept the 15 round M9/92 magazines ?
Finally!
Love this
I only wish they had it in SAO
Ann Lee with the Wilson trigger job the double action trigger pull is AMAZING! Mine is in the 6lb range with no stacking and absolutely no grit, it is really nice and that’s coming from a high end 1911 trigger guy.
Rick P I don’t like the slide mounted controls
I have one and i think its great !! You must shoot one !
