another great show guys, but i believe the show in willmington maryland, is actually willmington MAssechusetts. i remember going to that show with my old boss, and his wife, and when got back to the car, we would go through our bags like kids on halloween showing off our loot. that was over 30 years ago, great memories. thanks for another great show john
Hello my Brother from another mother another great show I look forward to watching What's Neat This Week every week Thank you for what you and your team dose for this best Hobby in the world.
Those are from the second series of Hiawatha's from Weaver, I have all 3 sets and will be building extra coaches, They will be polled by 2 A class 4-4-2's and an F7 4-6-4 all converted to 2 rail
Thanks guys always great to wake up Monday morning and watch the What's Neat This Week show. A great start to every week. As Ken say each week....GREATEST HOBBY IN THE WORLD!
Follow up on the N&W Class A repair. Unit is currently running in heavy revenue service hauling loaded coal hoppers (actual loads) down grade and empties back up to the mines. I would like to thank again Greg from GL Robotics for his help with this project.
Great show as always! I'm a vendor at the Monroeville Train Show. There is always 3 dates a year & the dates you have are correct! Thank you for helping grow this hobby!
Another great show! I love the passenger cars that Steve brought on the show! Very Nice Steve! Those trucks that Mike brought on the show are classic! Thanks for the memories! This is "The Best Hobby In The World" Till Next Time! MoPac Jack Rock N' Roll Forever... We need to encourage our young (Future) to our hobby! We need more girls/women in the hobby too! Respectfully Submitted, Jack
Great show Ken and team. There are quite a few lovely garden railways in the UK most are based on narrow gauge railways that are either powered electrically or by live steam locomotives. But there are exceptions of mainline railways in 0 scale, 00/H0 scale and the largest is gauge 1 which people can ride behind on miniature coaches as they are mostly full operational live steam locomotives or battery powered diesel/electric locomotives.
Nice mention upcoming train shows. This should be a regular feature on the show moving forward. Maybe announce shows a week or two before they are scheduled to happen.
Mike is the coolest guy ever, I love every modelling project he does and his ability is at the apex of the hobby, but he remains so humble. Keep up the great work. Does Mike have any other special MOPAC projects, such as "Herbie" boxcars, GP-7 180 "Mighty Mouse" unit, or anything else MOPAC?
Thanks, David! I don’t have the projects you mentioned, but I do have a lot of MoPac locomotives, freight cars and MOW trucks. Thanks for the nice words.
The HERBIE boxcar is a bit too new for my modeling era of 1978. I’m thinking it came out around 1981. The guy who drew all the “Herbys”, Herbert Mayer, lived in St Louis and worked for the Terminal Railroad of St Louis. He passed away in 1995.
Thanks to our old friend Mike Barry who was pressed into service as cameraman at the last minute. He did a great job considering he’d never worked with all this high-tech equipment we have!😄
You know what's not neat in model railroading? I'd have to sell my house and Ira just to afford to start this hobby. Every critical piece is at least $300-$400 or more
There are plenty of ways to enjoy this hobby on a strict budget. You don’t have to have sound or DCC. Train shows are back…You can find plenty of bargains there. It doesn’t have to be expensive.

Another brilliant show Ken, Mike and Steve. Do love those passenger cars that were on the table.

Another great show, the garden railway sounds great I will check it out.
Good show as always
Another great episode Ken! Keen to see this HO scale layout in the garden!
What a great show WNTW crew
After I get done with the house I’m building I will start on a raised bed garden layout. Hope that may help with deer and other animal visitors

I really like your vehicles Mike budde
Thank you.
Another great video.
starts at 3:20
Your credits at the end said June 16th!!
Another great job to everyone. Love the trucks Mike, I wish I could find a Dodge Ram in HO somewhere!
3D printed might be the way to go, depending upon the year. Matchbox (?) made one, about a 1993 model, that was almost 1:87…just a tiny bit too large.
@@mikebudde2570 Thank you Mike
Shriners is in Massachusetts not Maryland but great show.
Good episode gang.
Thanks, Sam! See you in a couple of weeks!
Ken, have you tried Irish Spring soap to ward off the deer? Many articles on the internet about its effectiveness.
We have deer eating my wife’s plants! The deer repellent is only somewhat effective…I’ll check out the Irish Spring.
The dates are November 12th and 13th trainfest in West Allis Wisconsin
Is this the same Trainfest that was in Milwaukee every November?
Is it just me or does ken look and sound like he’s about to burst into tears?
I think it’s you…😆
HELLO KEN ITS IS RANDY AND I LIKE U VIDEO IS COOL KEN THANKS FRIENDS RANDY
Does anybody read their replies, before submitting…..
Thanks to our old friend Mike Barry who was pressed into service as cameraman at the last minute. He did a great job considering he’d never worked with all this high-tech equipment we have!😄
KEN PLEASE! How do I upload a short video for Mike buddy. Its one I think he would like to see Its for our train club.
You forgot the Wisconsin in West Allis Wisconsin
What are the date and venue? We can mention it this Saturday.
From a phone to you or Mike?
Can you post it on the WNTW Facebook Page?
More O scale.....
You mention youth in the hobby - you might check out You Tube "Weathering with AJ". This is a talented 16 year old.
