The older stuff, in UNC, can fetch a decent amount over face, but circulated, it's just face, honestly. Good idea to keep them in sleeves too. Helps to preserve the condition. IF you want some cool notes, I'd look into Devil's face set. Very cool set. Also, 8:00, I'd have to take a look at the article, but it was most likely a fancy serial number. There are collectors for stuff like that, but the foreign market for fancy serials is a lot smaller than US. I also personally wouldn't recommend eBay. If you can find a local coin shop, I'd recommend that. You can often find better deals there, and if you build up a report with the shop, even better deals.

I've never been to Canada unfortunately but I have a license plate from each province and territory (just a sample plate from Nunavut though, I can't justify the price of a real one).
