    I don't understand why, after quarantine, the snakes aren't housed at a zoo or some other officially run location. That way they wouldn't be outside in the environment and wouldn't have to be killed. Such a waste of beautiful creatures!

    • @themetadaemon
      @themetadaemon หลายเดือนก่อน +22

      The quarantine period would need to be for several years. Reptiles can carry dormant diseases that can erupt after long periods of time. They wouldn't have the resources to keep them that long.

    Why is it some peeps think the law applies to everyone but them. Somehow, they are more special; or they think some officer should risk their job and make them the exemption. Ignorance is no excuse. These officers are there working hard to support their families. Kindly treat them like human beings. Even if a person is tired or irritated. Patience will make the process so much faster and easier !

      That is not a point. Point is that Australia became such a controlled place that is incomprehensible. First the government totally disarmed citizens, and in many cases brutalized them, as it had been seen during the so called "pandemic", and still instead of taking care about its own citizenry, it limits their rights and freedoms. Albanese can be easely called leftist dictator. Same happened in Canada with this arogant Trudeau, except it is not that possible to disarmed Canadians completely, and beside that many farmers and people leaving outside of cities wouldn't gave up their firearms under any circumstances. Treating the citizen that his only sin is bringing 5 packets of cigarettes over the limit and trying to charge duty of $100 is ridiculous and degrading.

    my heart goes out to Elvis, he was clearly young when he got involved with bike thefts and he did his time and seem to have been rehabilitated. He was also fully honest, didn't try to conceal anything, didn't try to emotionally manipulate.... I worked with juvenile convicted of crimes, even violent ones, and with help and guidance they grew up to be just another member of society living a normative life. He deserves a second chance and I really hope he managed to get the correct visa and had no other issues because of his past.

    • @edwardr7520
      @edwardr7520 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No one gets checked leaving a country unless there's some suspicious activity (like trying to get a gun into an airplane illegally). It's up to the destination country to determine if a person is admissible. It's up to the person to approach the receiving country to determine if they are eligible. The customs and immigration of one country can't be expected to know the rules of entry for the other 196 countries or to determine who is allowed to enter other countries.

      This is standard procedure that we do in museums and archives. Except we freeze for 2 weeks to up to one month or treat with anoxia (put into a sealed balloon that is filled with nitrogen and it kills living organisms but can be a bit expensive). Also he should have never touched or unrolled the document with those yard gloves on. All he needed to do was wash his hands (not apply hand lotion or creams) and then handle the document. Gloves, especially ones as ill fitting as the pair he had on reduces dexterity and can cause damage. Take the box to the entomologist but take the contents to an archivist, a history museum/university rare book room/ art conservator

Many of these people shown in these videos have travelled halfway across the world to meet someone they have never met before. Not allowing someone in because they got a prison sentence. This from a country that was founded by prisoners. How about y'all send those founders back to the UK?

    Most entering the country bought their traditional belongings like medicine without declaring, is it cheaper to pay a penalty, maybe they only do this to avoid further questioning unlike the Filipino guy.

      The person needs to sign a consent form for the tv producers to be able to use their face, if they do not consent the producers must blur them.

    Shuffling the stories between each other makes it difficult to follow & keep track how & where each story ended.
    Try to tell each story from the beginning to the end, before starting anothe story.

    You know nothing at all about Sydney..well that's why you wanted to explore it. It's said to be beautiful, so why not have a holiday vacation there, right?.. hmmm...is that so wrong?? 3-4 days vacation abroad is fine, and spending more for it or beyond our salary is like a self-reward.. But then, if you're up to something different, it's a different story then...
    So maybe next time... when you plan to go somewhere abroad with a tourist visa, make sure to prepare your itinerary.. it's so easy searching thru the internet..it will serve like just a guide..
