Bears fan...discovered JF1 on QB1 as well. Followed him thru the BCS in consecutive years at Ohio St. In shock the Bears traded up to get him. Super excited at the time and now I see in JF1 what I saw in the Bowl games - a battle tested baller that is electric! Small sample size as an NFL player but love what I see. I think Bears fans finally have a QB they can build around. We NEVER had one.

We do finally have one. It’s so exciting. But now weirdly when we finally have our qb our defense is now probably the worst it ever has been. But we should have the #2 pick and like 120$ mil for free agency so we should build that defense up and get Justin some help on offense. JF and the bears are about to take over the nfl. I knew when he committed it was gonna be an issue because he was talking like he was gonna start day 1. Good parents and strong family bonds make a good foundation and source of support for athletes and any young person. As a parent w 4 kids, I appreciate the investment they have made in their childen. The mom playing classical music to Justin when a baby is funny - we did that with our first child.

I'm looking forward to what he can do with a coaching staff that are actually smart & can coach! I do think Getsy will build the offense around Fields & then branch out from there. I think he has great potential & really think Chicago has their Franchise QB for the future!

If you look at his college years at qb it is kinda the same scenario we have today.He was at Georgia and battled and played for a starting position trying to find his identity the same as when he battled dalton for a starting spot and the way the first season played out for him . Then he left to Ohio as a new qb and accomplished great things. we hope that’s what Justin’s second season is is gonna be with the bears with their new coaching staff and his new experiences from the first year ..
You can just look at all the great players like Jerry rice. It's about the work you put into it once your in the NFL .

People who say that Fields is a bust, don't watch the games. When throwing the deep ball he is one of the most accurate, and he only throws it deep when he has time. He just doesn't have time to throw. And yes he has to get better in the short to intermediate throws, but that well come when he has a line that can give him enough time to be comfortable.
