I'm pretty sure that wasn't anyone trying to bring him down, that was someone out there trying to keep him under the radar enough to snag him later in the draft. Doesn't really matter what they say about him, it won't change anything, in fact will likely just give him that chip and the fire to be even better.
I’m worried his celebrity will surpass his skill and more so his HUNGER to be great. If he has the drive this kid will be top 3-5 QB IMO
@@jordanw1649 What makes you worried about that? Literally every high draft pick QB has the same celebrity but there's not a single thing to suggest Fields will allow that to take over his game so I don't know why you would even worry about something like that.

When the nfl draft came it amazing how short term scouts and nfl teams memory was . Dude was a beast in high school and college. I guess Lawrence had a visually better throwing motion,outside of that no QB put up a better performance on the field then fields.

I never hear it talked about, but I honestly think his epilepsy could have played a role in the hesitancy around fields. I remember him saying he takes 3 or 4 medications to manage it and I know a lot about the medications used to treat epilepsy. Many of them, especially over the long term, can cause all types of side effects that could effect performance including cognitive impairment. He clearly seems to be fine now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were concerns around that issue.
