    Mirage : An optical illusion | What is a Mirage and Why do we see a Mirage | Home Revise
    This video explains the concept of mirage - an optical illusion. It happens due to the difference in temperature in the layers of air. Different temperature causes the density of air to change and this leads to the phenomenon of mirage.

    After total internal reflection, light should also undergo refraction while travelling from warmer air to cooler air. Please correct the animation

    So Mirage formation is because of atmospheric refraction or Total internal reflection

    Its not TIR , it is due to law of refraction (by Snell's Law)
    Correct your explanation Bro.👍🏻👍🏻
    tan@ = n'/√{(n'+alpha x)² - n' ²}
    Aftr solving dy/dx
    Y²=1/√2 × n/n' * x
    Which is parabola
