Brother thank you so much. I do doordash and drove by this tv seeing it was in good condition . Get home to see it turns on with backlight but no image .Your video just made my Eid today :) , I taped the last 5 pins and perfect image ty for vid 😆😆😆😆😆
This worked on my LG 55UK6500AUA black screen - sound & backlight working. 2nd try, tape on the left side (pins approx 5-10 on right side of pins) 😬 TY
Hello! Cool video. What do you think could be the issue with the 55UK6300 TV? I can see the picture, but the brightness is insufficient. The brightness on the TV is set to 100%, but it's not more than 20%. What could be the problem?
All the taping videos are helpful, but the repairs won't last long. All these people do is blocking a faulty signal line, which the manufacturer wouldn't have placed there if it wasn't necessary. It helps for now, but no screen i've "repaired" this way held for more than a few days or had following issues, such as the split screen, flickering, clouding or missing lines. The Mainboard is faulty and as long as you can't solder PCBs, it'll stay so.
I have an LG55UM6910PUC it just shows a blank black screen. When it first happened there was audio and you could switch channels but no picture. Now there is no audio so I can't tell if the channels are changing with the Remote.
It worked in mine and my location is in the middle, but i got new issue. There is a blank screen, maybe at the area where i already cover the Pin😅😅..do you have any solution to help me out😊
This is the only repair that can be done to the screen. Next you will need to replace it. My living room tv had the same fix over 2 years now still going strong.

thanks man, took me about 10 minutes. put two different sized pieces of tape one at a time and tried it. 5th try worked perfect.

This worked for me but i had to use a wider piece of tape that covered like 18 bars. Thank you

The tv problem wasn't a bad flex cable it was a bad lcd screen

My tv has black screen . backlight works and sound works if I disconnect either flex the lines switch between left and right
