- The Division 2 Specializations: There are six specializations for you to unlock and upgrade in The Division 2. Three become available as soon as you reach level 30 and are about to head into the world tiers. These three specializations are Demolitionist, Survivalist and Sharpshooter. Each specialization comes with its own signature weapon that you can use with special ammo, and they also have skill trees that you can spec into to improve your build.
Along with these three specializations you can also unlock three additional ones which are Technician, Gunner and Firewall. These are not given to you automatically though and you must complete projects in order to get them.
This video is for new players to The Division 2 or returning players that still need to unlock all the specializations. I give you a full guide on how specializations work on The Division 2 in 2024.

They did revamp the specializations years ago. It was not a major overhaul, but I do know that at the beginning of the game the corner with the firearm specializations (SMG, AR, MMR) was different from what we have now. You were locked into certain weapon types based on the specialization chosen. I don't know that they changed anything else though.

Thanks for making this it's really going to help me out with unlocking the other specializations. Plus, the last time I tried to unlock a specialist, I nearly got a headache from it.
Good stuff as always G. Only thing i wish they would do with sharpshooter is buff the pistol, its the highest rpm pistol in the game, was absolutely great in descent if you manage to get it, but the sharpshooter one is a shame it lacks dmg.
I have never used any if them I don't think. Exveot for the Firewall one which makes targets on fire take more damage

Oh ok, well all the other special weapons do extremely high damage, sadly the pistol not so much. Not found one in open world though, but like i wrote the descent one is absolutely great.
The Raven isn’t spawning on Manning National Zoo. It’s spawning Black Tusk not Outcast
If anyone is having trouble completing a stage with a mission check the settings before entering. I killed Lt. Kelly 3 times and it wouldn't complete. Found out it was on story even though i had it set to challenging through the global menu.
What settings do you mean? I have challenge to kill books, but he doesn’t appear.
Can you do the stages at level 30,or you have to be level 40 to complete the unlocking?

What is the fastest easiest ways to get the points so you unlock all of the Specializations? Ive been doing Bounties and Control Points ( i think they have to be Heroic?)?????? I takes foreveeeeeeeeeerrr to get them all unlocked.
When I watch the video I notice u have the skill called decoy how do I unlock it ?

Why are the specializations locked after the main story game though. It would be more fun if players could play through the game with specialization skills and weapons.

You should be able to activate it to use but the projects will still be there to do

Theres a talant on a bag that says specialisation armour when using an amour kit. I think it's efficient. But what does this it do to a specialisation i.e gunner?
I think its a chest. Efficient was used a lot in PVP at one stage. It basically increases the effect of any specialization armor kit perk. So I forget which one but there is one where it gives you 100% armor over time, so with effiecient this would be 200% armor over time.
