The Division 2: Inventory Management Guide for Beginners

- The Division 2: The worse part about The Division 2 is inventory management. With so many weapons, gear, exotics, mods and named items, there is a lot to sort out and it often gets players flustered. If not done well you can be spending a lot of your time managing your inventory and in the past I have spent days just sorting it all out. Although I think a good inventory management session is needed from time to time, I believe they should't be needed often. I created a system that I use for myself that enables me to spend more time playing than worrying about loot and I am sharing this in today's video. I hope this can be helpful for any beginners or players that struggle with this.

This guy has made all of the videos that are relevant for me and my friends. Edit. First time I tried a super thanks. Hope it worked. You earned it
Thanks again
For new players your library is your best friend, so before you deconstruct extract the talents and max attributes you need and then deconstruct or sell.
I started a new character two days ago and played until level 30, just so I could play the game without having to worry about inventory management for once. Playing my higher level characters is getting almost as bad as Fallout 76.
I'll try your approach. Thanks.
The main problem really is that if you haven't played for years, it's hard to know what to keep (aside from the 'will I ever be able to afford optimizing this?' approach). And there isn't really a fix for that other than playing more, I guess.
$10 DLC for 100 extra stash space, I'd pay it!
Thank you for this awesome video. I left td2 a few years ago and the inventory issues was one of the main reasons. Now that i decided to return to the game you made me tackle the biggest issue of the game to focus on fun!! Thank you
Great Timing for me Lol, I was wondering about this topic for quite some time now. Thanks GCROCK!
Thanks!
Thank you!!
Thank you for this Rock :)
Can also store additional gear mods in armour peices in the stash 😉
Great video on a continual problem! I store all stash mods on gear to keep stash slots free, because Ubisoft.
I have not listen yet cos at work. Liking it cos someone is talking abt this for a change
Can't help but comment again. This is good stuff. Like the other guy mentioned, can you do a best practices video for loadouts next?
Appreciate the super thanks. Not thought of doing a best practices loadout video until today. I will add it to the list of what I have planned.
inventory capacity is ok, but stash space limit is just ridiculous, even more if it doesnt let you store each item at least once...
I have four characters. The 1st one is my main, the 2nd one is an armor mule, the 3rd one is a weapons mule, and the 4th one is empty in case I want to delete that character and start a new one for a WONY run.
Having the 2nd and 3rd around does help quite a bit with organizing extra armor and weapons respectively, albeit that does make it impractical to play as them given they're almost full on inventory all the time.
I really do think I should do some trimming on them, but now they're both almost completely full on max-rolled pieces I've kept. Really hard to let go of stuff once every item you've got is like that. Like splitting hairs to decide what to delete.
does this come with a tutorial on how to set it up
Excellent video! I'm playing this game for a while now (SHD 1200), but i still struggle with the inventory management. Helped me a lot!
Where i can get the Clows Out holster? I've never saw it before, and it looks interesting haha
Claws out is a DZ item. But it can be found in named/conflict caches and go on sale at DZ vendors
@@GCROCK thank you!
Good helpful video, otherwise what about 'loadouts' management/inventory?
Added this video to my list
just what i looking for...
On a totally unrelated topic, does Skill Haste affect how many pickups you need for the skill to be ready with Scavenged Skills from Global Directives active?
Very good question.. one that I couldn't answer but my guess is no
Skill haste only applies to skill cool downs, scavenged skills directive is a new metric added when activated and will state how many pick ups are needed for the skill to become available again. Hope this helps.
@@lvl_hed1381 If that's the case, it should be reworked because it completely negates all the skill haste that your gear has.
@@Valtierre yes your right it does, but I believe it's seen as an add on that can make the game more challenging to you if you wish to use it, a bit like cool skills directive also.
As one is working up to level 40, should exotics/legendaries be held onto as well or dismantled/data stored in library?
Working up to 40 I just dismatle everything but might be a good idea to hold onto for library
You can upgrade level 30 to level 40 in crafting Station.
@reddevil1540 Really, I haven't seen anything about that! Does it work for power leveled gear as well?
@@GS-xv7eg used to before you can even do level 40 to 30 I think. There was a video before
Can we still get the ST Elmos engine?
Yeah, targeted loot AR or exotic caches. Best bet is Countdown
My problem is I have 60 max rolled guns in case they get a buff but in reality I only use about 4-5 daily.
I don't even look at roles. If I want something down the line I can alwys optimize it to max.
Also G: Loot everything as junk & delete all 😂😂
