Well it's mainly because they were a already established civilization unlike the swarm that is more like a tribe, I'm sure with due time game wise they will too develop a civilization as well
They did reintroduce the locust, the scions and wardens are the locust that have survived, the swarm are only going to get to be stronger, smarter, and more deadly over time, we can see it in gears 4-5 in gears 4 they have barely any armor now in gears 5 not only do they have regular armor from Deebees the swarm in vasgard also salvaged UIR armor to make their own armor
@@Nolongerhereanymore yes they should come on you could have some hold outs in the final chapter of gears 6 you kill queen reyna with Kate but myrah soul goes into a pod transforming her into a stronger physical body you fight her and new locust who come out of the ground but possess a variety of weapons Old UIR weapons, COG weapons and locust weapons you would see them adapting to use the talon and enforcer. Veteran locust would have boomshots, hammerbursts MK1 and 2, Retro lancers, lancer MK2, sawn off shotguns, gnashers, longshots, one shots, mulchers ect. Your specialist locust like boomers, grinders diggers would be around with grinders carrying a mix of tri shots and mulchers
Also if there is a mauler elite does that mean there might be other elite variants.also it would have been cool to play as a flame boomer in beast mode.

It’s certainly possible the Locust bred the boomers to be a special unit of their army. Focusing on making a subspecies within their race to be significantly larger and bulkier than a normal locust soldier, who could take more punishment from enemy gears. Course with the downfall of not being exactly the “sharpest tool in the shed” but given how much they can take in a fight, it’s an acceptable trade off for the locust empire.
What im curious about is mabye the Boomers bigger size some how related to the Bezerkers. Mabye there a sub species like the Priest. Now im also currious do the Priests also breed with Bezerkers?

Individuals who need to bombard the view within the first thirty seconds because all their children aged fans loose interest rapidly to most copy, paste shit system of content production and have to scream “like comments and subscribe” before the videos average watch time drops to low percentage between 15-25 after the first sixty seconds.

Anyone else feel like the digger was a huge downgrade? Gears 3 comes and see a new boomer and it’s so easy to dodge lol just pushes you out of cover. Guess when supplies run short ya gotta make do..
In the clip where you were showcasing the grinder and mauler gameplay what game mode was that? I'm guessing that's a modified game mode because it doesn't look like the standard beast mode.

Scion and wardens are locusts, but later in gears 5 the locust return once more for the final bits in act 2 or 3!

You know what'd SUCK? a Mauler with an Elite Boomer's shield, and a Cleaver instead of an Explosive Flail that runs towards you.
All I'll hear is "charge" "pound" "crush!" Or "RUAAAAAAAGHHHH" that's typically what I'd hear from a Mauler or boomer or digger
