    I 100% Agree with the cordless Dyson. I have the V8 Absolute ... very loud, sometimes pain in my finger, it will blow certain things away because of the top exhausts. My iRobot 585 is 5 years old and I probably send it to retirement and will buy the RoboVac Eufy G30 Hybrid. Thanks for the video!

      Thanks a lot .. I’m glad you found my video helpful 😊😊
      And yes, it’s soo true with Dyson .. a really stage choice of positioning the exhaust system right towards your face! This RoboVac has been a life saver and I will probably never switch back to other types ever!!

    I'd just like to add for people who may encounter this problem, I bought one as 'spares or repair' from eBay because the owner stated 'four beeps and solid red light error meaning rolling brush is stuck'.....
    It was showing this error but actually the battery had reached the end of its useful life. It didn't have the power to move the rolling brush and it wouldn't hold a charge.
    I spent £15 on a new battery and it works perfectly.
    The point is, don't give up on this excellent machine when the battery eventually fails, they don't last forever, its worth keeping this in mind.
    Also, if the rolling brush IS stuck, there are TH-cam videos showing how to free it if it's more complicated than just unclipping the brush itself.

    Thanks for showing us how well it works on a fluffy rug. I have a carpet with fringe. Do you think it would work?

    • @RaavMedia
      @RaavMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem 😌.. Coming to a carpet with fringe, if it is one with too many loose threads with spaces in between, it might get stuck in the vacuum cleaner’s rolling brush. Unfortunately, I do not have such kind otherwise I would have tested it for you.

    I am new to this, but how do you map the floor so it cleans it? We have kids and crumbs on the carpet most of the time. I am thinking of running it overnight or after we leave to school to clean the rooms.

    • @RaavMedia
      @RaavMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don’t have to do the mapping .. it works out on its own. You can leave it unattended .. but if there is stuff like clothes or other things on the floor .. it gets stuck sometimes.. Now, nothing happens, it just beeps and sends you a message saying it’s stuck.

  • @Fleed907
    @Fleed907 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Not sure, but maybe it moves without problems over thick carpet is because the suction is weak.

    • @RaavMedia
      @RaavMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have noticed no issues .. Euffy always cleans our carpets .. I just do the corners and the stairs with Dyson. You can get models with stronger suction if you feel this model is bit low.

    I have a question is it available to clean the rug well? I mean should I use the normal vacuum to clean it or can I just let the smart vacuum clean it?

    • @RaavMedia
      @RaavMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do show two kinds of rugs in my video .. one is slightly thinner and the other is thicker with long threads. We use the RoboVac for both and it works perfectly fine .. the only place where we use our Dyson cordless is on the stairs 😊

      Absolutely.. didn’t realise its already been 2 years … this thing is still working like a champ .. I have shifted this completely to do upstairs and we use it like 1-2 times every week 😊
