Was there too! Gazza played for Boro aswel if I remember? And we beat Reading 1-0 at home to send them down Chris Bart-Williams goal was enough. Remember it well what a season that was. I was pissed on the train at 8.30am that morning as I live in Chesterfield there was about 30 of us atmosphere was amazing on the train and the buzz walking through the city was out of this world.

Was there too. What was amazing about that game was that Boro were top and we were 2nd or 3rd. To GO Top we had to win by 4 goals......and we got a late goal to do just that. If memory serves, we then played SUnderland at home 4 days later and lost 3-0 !!

Valiant effort by Luton, but the massive injury list to key players (11 out for most of last 2.5 months) killed them in the end.
Even then it in hindsight it all turned on one game. 0-3 up at halftime (away) against a good Bournemouth team, you do not somehow contrive to lose the game 4-3. That’s the night a few weeks back that Luton effectively signed their relegation death warrant.

It’s over and done. One more win for Forest, and Luton can do nothing about it. Even if Forest get only one point from their last 2 games, Luton must beat both WHU (away) and Fulham. They won’t do that.
Forest fan. Absolutely rode our luck in first half and just relieved we got the points on tbe board. Nice to hear the pundits saying they think we are safe. I still think theres life in this relegation battle. If Forest are not safe by the time they play Burnley, I think we could be in trouble. Watch this space.

Well 2 weeks on, he was right - Forest didn't need any more points as it turned out....though we got 3....and finished 6 points clear of Luton....7 if you include our GD and ELEVEN clear if we hadn't have had the Points Deduction. SO, all this talk that Forest were "as bad as the Bottom 3" and deserve to go down and were "lucky to escape" are not fair at all. The points we won on the pitch 36 - was enough to keep Forest in the PL in 21 of the past 25 Seasons - yet the Bottom 3 were bad this year, but Forest's success on the grass was more than good enough to keep us up.
Forest might still get a larger points deduction on appeal.
We should survive, one more win will ensure that we do. We MUST learn from our continual mistakes because we won't have three poor teams propping us up next season!

We had different rules that made it hard for our owners to invest in the club, weird how the rules are about to change. Its almost as if they were unjust and we shouldn't have been punished for it in the first place.
