Yeah I was saying that to someone on here the other day. That was the golden days of Talksport, it was basically like Sky Sports on the radio. Real pundits like Stan telling it how it is, ruffling feathers but it was a great listen.

The other thing with Trippier is while he may not drive for the line and cross with his left - he has ample opportunity to cut onto his right and whip an angled ball in. Check out the other teams - they’re doing this consistently and keeping defences on their toes by changing the angle of attack.
If I was an England player and got the call to be part of the Team, Before I made the decision I would want to know if I am in the plans to be in the starting line ups or just to make up the numbers on the bench.

This is the best take I've heard so far and it's 100% correct. England's players have got no guts, they don't have the balls to take on a player and try and create a chance from nothing. Teams need a player who is willing to risk it to create, this is what happens when majority of the players come from man city's way of playing, a team where pep stifles creativity and embellishment. Big games are often decided by big game players, Your Messis, your Prime Ronaldos, they had the guts to always question the defence and do anything necessary to score. There is not one player in England's side that can Single handedly change the game, atleast not from the players Southgate has been starting.

Ok I get the frustration with England 🏴 fans regarding southgate meaning why in earth is he experimenting with players right now in the tournament, this should have been done months ago in freindly matches and he’s had what 2 years to get full backs , I get it but at the end off the day all the players have to step up and take responsibility because they are on the field can’t keep blaming the manager , England problem is they have no tempo or desire to kick the ball forward they casually hit it side to side then backwards constantly I just don’t understand, either way when england dies move forward with the ball and actually get a few passes together they are dangerous also instead off passing the ball around near the box cross it into the box because i feel england have so much more better chances off scoring a goal
