Awesome rig. One day I might follow suit and build something similar. Im running 2 rigs now one at home and one at my holiday home, so I've gone the NLR route for quick setup. But building and tinkering your own setup like that would be very satisfying. Also whilst VR is great, it's still a long way off the smoothness and crispness of triples

Quick question, would you ever consider perhaps doing some diy how to videos? Specifically relating to how you for example have built some of the custom gear in your rig? I have begun playing around with arduinos making a wind simulator, button boxes and working on some dot matrix displays but what you have built is another level. Very much admire your inginuity and want to steal your knowledge! Haha

Honestly the sparco looks better but will be probably much more expensive and the other part which concerns me is the stitching! It looks like the turn is stitched from out side which is not ideal for long use ! All that of course is though as I haven’t tested neater of those two and I can only talk for the Sport line which is too particularly for that price !
It is hard to answer clearly but if I had to make the choice and money are not problem would go with the sparco or wait for the Sport Line 300 🤔

I never tested that sim from the time I have those pedals buddy!
Sometimes AMS2 have trouble to recognize mine but wen I unplug and plug back the usb and restart the sim it works !
Sometimes wen I start my PC they don’t work till I do that procedure!

With your second "second" screens, does the URL number change everytime you start your PC? My tablet always turns off the USB tethering and i have to re connect my second tablet, the first one is always connected.
Most of the times I just unplug and plug again and works but sometimes I have to reconnect as well ! It is a headache indeed 🤔
I'm looking for triple screens and yours look so amazing that I looked for the same monitors and they aren't that expensive. But for the same price they also offer the iiyama 32" IPS flat screens, would you consider those or is there a reason curved VA is better?
You already know the differences between the VA and IPS and honestly, if that 1mls is real the IPS may have even better experience! The curve is very slide on those and for triples I don’t think anything below 1500r is good choice from ergonomic point of view as the become so close and is getting hard to go in the rig ! And the curve makes no difference for the experience! IPS tech became much affordable and I’ve hear next year some great OLED 32 inch are coming 😮

I'm wondering why did you went for P2000, compared the Ultimates or something even like VNMs or VRS Pedals? The P2000 looks the lease adjustable of them all? As always, epic video and rig! 👌
I think because they ware affordable and I never had before hydraulic like pedals!
I still prefer them over my HE pro which ware also awesome and served me well for over 3 years !
I guess there are not real advantages or disadvantages but is fun for little change! I’m also curious to see how long will those survive 😁

@@ReiDoesIt You cant beat that brake pedal for feeling and price. I have knee issues so i have to run Simagic clutch and Brake but use my Heusinkveld Pro Throttle which works great. The Simagic Throttle even on it softest setting was too much for my knees and many others I've spoke too but the brake instantly took a almost a second off my time on day 2 amd the consistency is unmatched. If you afford it get a set with hydraulic brake as for me that was a bigger change to my skill level than when i got my Simucube 2 pro which again is amazing.

@@Simlife101 Thank you! I'm waiting for local dealer to have both P2000 and VNMs (probably similar to 101 Sprint copies) and I will check. Actually I have an issie with right knee as well, but not for weight but for positioning, so the extea adjustments of Sprint style pedal would help me to dial in the positioning. However I did try P2000 already, and I did like them a lot, just dont want to buy without comparison. Also, some reviews shows that P2000 have lateral play, but the one I tried had zero play. How is yours?

I use few self powered usb hub 3.0 and honestly I don’t have any problems! I use 3 of those and all together in all around my PC I have 20 connected items!
Sometimes Electromagnetic interface can be a problem as I had that issue with the fan motor which is quite strong but I moved it behind my seat far from the PC and never experience those problems again!

Usually the new motherboards have that VR ready USB port which have the best bandwidth! You can give it a try if you use different port !

@@chepilevski thanks! You are kinda making me realize that sim racing is its own sport and has its own type of vehicle (rig). There is a point where people who actually race cars should be jealous of OUR cockpits over their real one. These are not cars. It’s ok to make these cockpits unique. Before, putting a cup holder for example didn’t seem to “race car”. A keyboard mount didn’t seems “racecar”. In other words. Just do what gives you comfort in SIM racing.

I was looking into the sg racing sequential shifter as well as the simagic. How to they compare and which do you prefer? I assume they have a distinct feel as you have both shifters mounted.
Yes buddy, they have very distinct and unique feeling! The Simagic is more mechanical and harsh but little noice and the SG more magnetic and stiff ! From shifting I prefer the SG but from esthetic point of view I prefer the Simagic!
If you drive more at night or there are other people around the SG is much quieter! If you prefer more mechanical fees Simagic is amazing! If I have to choose personal only one of those two SG will be my personal choice 🤛

So i might go with the SG as they have the shift and handbrake for the price of the simagic but the simagic is much more beautiful and sounds amazing. So ima roll some dice and let them pick for me😂. @@adriancuevas1587 well , if you go rally SG is your shifter for those rapid gear changes! You can really abuse that shifter and never be wary about! It is made for real racing cars and will last for longer!

I guess you put more effort into building the rig than the actual driving.
I was driving a lot in the first 13 years of my Simracing carrier, sometimes 6-8 hours per day to make sure I’m ready for every race I’m starting but I have to admit, the last 2 years I definitely spend more time planing that rig instead of driving 😁
I guess those 2 things , driving and building are two completely different hobbies for me 🤛

Sorry, my english is not really good. For example, how do you operate the button box in VR? You don't even see them.
Honestly that is a problem and in VR I use only buttons on my wheels as that is much easier and never use any of the button boxes!
It can be learned as all is about muscle memory but it will take Salome time if you want to use button boxes !

Do you have the issue with Simagic pedals that sometimes the throttle is not fully coming back when releasing?

I saw you have set the short traffeldistance. Maybe it’s easier for the damper to push it back
@@tennis4live I think that is not normal anyway! At what scale you ace turn the pipe? I use the softer one as I want as quick response as possible!
@@chepilevski I am using the lowest connection point on the pedal and run the damper at 5.
It’s not like this all the time. When I release quickly then it’s no issue but sometimes when I do a slow release it gets stuck at 20%
@@tennis4live hmm , you can try to put it to the top connection point ware the pressure of the dumper will have better angle and the you can adjust the the dumper pressure to your like !i think that have good chance to fix the problem!

Check out SimEffects - you can do it a lot easier/cheaper using AC fans with their system.

What angle do you have your side screens at?
130 deg , 50 degrees for the game ! I feel like I need to close them to 120 but I can’t with the stand I’m using and at 130 you can see the bezel free kit creat some dark line 🙈
@Clint Eckhardt he has a video called How to set up triple screen and in that video you see his monitor settings
Also in Iracing he found a great trick of setting the middle monitor distance too 50 too 55cm even if its more because the world scale just doenst look right and corners look different but once i set it too 55cm (it was 69cm from my eyes to the centre of the middle screen) and that seems to be perfect for my triple 32in so maybe look up that video as he explains its extremely well

I'm in a good place with my rig but for 6 months i haven't been able to get that self sticking Alcantara Anywhere in the UK. Ebay had some but it was stupid price and not enough, i would have to spend £200 just too have enough to cover everything. One good thing is i keep the boxes too everything i buy and keep them in my heated loft so i have all the strong cardboard i could ever need 😂
Any ideas where i can get that same Alcantara in the UK. I would be happy if it cost no more than £100 but i cant find any anywhere all i find is that stuff you get in the bottom of a jewellery box which isnt Alcantara and looks horrible.
Also is that Air compressor exspensive because i used one bed on my old car that had Alcantara in it and wow the air made it look new again so defo need one of those too.
I just got the 2 Phillips hue light bars and the bridge but have yet to figure out how to mount them.

I found a link from eBay UK the same alcantara like material I use which cost 28£ and if you spend around 100 you will be able to cover lots of details 💪 will share it at the end !
The compressor cost me round 120€ but I really use it weekly to clean my rig and PC and previously I used those air bottles which costed 5€ and I used 2 every week so 120 solve my problem forever 😁
and that material looks really sweet after cleaning with it !
