People, I get it. The volume is too low on this video. Please keep in mind that I got it off a bootleg DVD and used Window's Movie Maker to be able to use this. There's nothing I can do about it. Stop complaining about it, please.
Maybe reload it using another method ? Instead of complaining about people who legitimately cannot hear a vid with insufficient volume ? It's amazing what technology is available these days. Just a thought....
Carol Burnett has a perfect mastery of the old acting cliches- striking hammy poses and attitudes, "indicating"- and she just slaughters it all with merciless glee. I watch old movies from that era and I feel like she's in the room with me, trying to break me up.
This gown is beautiful on Carol. Btw- the costumes in the actual film 'The Little Foxes' with Bette Davis are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

I don’t remember the name of the actor with the white gloves, but he was a member of the team of dancers that were featured very frequently in the Carol Burnett Show. As for why Carol claps her hands, it’s pretty much a way of saying “Done”. You’re clapping the dust off your hands after a job well done. Hope that helps!!
