the game has only been out for a few months, u don't know for certain that nintendo will not give us updates like this. while i doubt they will give us every quality of life feature from these videos, they did say that they will be updating the game for about 3 years so updates like this are very likely.

i really want a way to locate your villagers. like asking another villager “have you seen________”. sometimes i find villagers wandering behind cliffs or in un walkable areas

For context for the original comment, in Nick's streams of him making this video, he mentioned that he likes most of the tunes in this game, but the synthesizer melodies ruin many of them for him. In my opinion, the synthesizer wasn't the best choice, but the tracks are still really good even with them.

They should add 2 villagers modes: Normal mode: They have more personality, and can be rude, like in the old game. Chill mode: They are nice to you at all times, like as of right now. These modes are allowed to be changed.

I would love that if my villagers would tell me to stop talking to them so many times, but if it is added then it should be able to be different for each resident so a younger person who plays on the same switch wont be told to fuck off by their favorite villager
Honestly there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to indicate whether you've cataloged something or not. In the DIY menu it tells you if you've made the item before AND how many are in your inventory or storage
Items you haven't catalogued yet could have a little sparkle on the corner every now and then, kinda like watered flowers, so you don't even need to inspect them.
ftr, there are reasons why they dont have some of these features. you cant decorate/terraform while guests r visiting so that you cant trap them. but most of this is... wow. like youre literally telling them concisely what everyone thinks is wrong with this game and nintendo is just like "Actually we just made it harder to make money" like. why. WHY. this is supposed to be a fun zen game not a challenge
Another thing is that you can't customize your airport because it's vital to some of the mechanics. Different coloured airports mean that you will get certain exclusive colours on items in nook shopping.

Nah, Nintendo won’t do that, New Horizons is an island builder, and they ignored the “Animal” part of Animal Crossing, the animals now just feel like complete shells and dolls, purely for decoration, and that isn’t my cup of tea. I hope they change it, but I doubt that they would.

the two things i want are: when you craft something, in between the “keep crafting” and “done for now” options, there’s a “customize it!” option if you just crafted a customizable item. you should be able to put trees, bushes, and flowers you dug up into your storage. seriously, i can hold five fountains and a whale shark in there but not a tulip?

They did add the storage idea in the video, but I’m confused why that was the only one. All of these ideas were awesome and would probably make ACNH a much better game. This stuff looked like it came out of the news section on my switch!

Nah, Nintendo won’t do that, New Horizons is an island builder, and they ignored the “Animal” part of Animal Crossing, the animals now just feel like complete shells and dolls, purely for decoration, and that isn’t my cup of tea. I hope they change it, but I doubt that they would.

the two things i want are:
when you craft something, in between the “keep crafting” and “done for now” options, there’s a “customize it!” option if you just crafted a customizable item.
you should be able to put trees, bushes, and flowers you dug up into your storage. seriously, i can hold five fountains and a whale shark in there but not a tulip?
