J will this is absolutely awesome!! Do you have the blueprints? I would pay money for your blueeprints, although I would have to modify it a bit as I would want to make it for flight sims mainly and I'd like to get into some racing sims too!! Great job!!
Is that a Thrustmaster Wheel and a set of Fanatech pedals? I love your creative work, but I plan on getting a commercially made cockpit frame ( no seat, I'll for now get one out of a junk car for free ) and I plan to modify a heavy duty triple monitor (large format ) clamping desktop stand . I am planning on getting a wheel, pedal, shift set combo (logitech G29) on sale from amazon for $250.00 and get monitors on at a time from amazon (best price/refresh ) . Plan to as I get more into the hobby replacing the shifter and then the pedals with Fanatech ( may need to hydraulic modify first Logitech and later Fanatech pedals for realism) Then maybe in 2 or 3 years check into DIY full motion frame based on a top flight budget one on TH-cam. Love what you did, may try it if my frame turns out to be cheap flimsy crap. Wish me luck.
This will sound ridiculous but I found this video by trawling Google looking for answers to my question, "wtf do I do with these Integra seats to make them usable on my sim rig?" And lo and behold, there you are with the pipe wrench, perfect haha.
FineVisionz the grey pipe was bought with the bend in it. It was actually grey conduit pipe. The key board holder I filled with sand and heated it up with a heat gun to put the bends in.
I like it. I built one out of 2x2 pine with seat it cost me 100.00 worked great until I got married. My wife did not like. So now I am coming up with a new solution to my racing sim. I will not be putting it on youtube.
If you'd prefer something slicker looking but still out of PVC Google PVC furniture fittings - they have a lot of interesting possibilities (and come in clear and a multitude of colors!)...
Never build a rig out of wood….. and definitely DEFINITELY don’t build it out of plastic pipe! If you are unwilling or or unable to spend the money on aluminium profile then clamp it to a desk.
You clearly have no clue of what your talking about. This rig lasted 6years. Not sure what silver spoon you were given? But wood and pvc have been around for over 20years as a very good comparison to the more expensive metal rigs. Do your research before making such a claim and trying to sound better than everyone else.
My first “rig” was made from an ikea chair and some 2x4, it was squeeeeeeky A F! and more to the point was Micky mouse A F! I quickly realised the truth and designed and built my own out of 3030 profile. You sir are a hack. And the fact that you are still using a plastic rig after 6 years speaks volumes about your standards and intelligence.
This Has To Be One Of The Cleanest Builds I've Seen! Damn Good Job And Thank You For Sharing
Brutal amigo , un excelente trabajo 👏👏👏.
OMG, you could've made it look way better by running the cables through the PVC. Still looks awesome man....
Imprecionante ojala pudieras pasar los planos de tu cokpit
Looks really good! As many times as I've modified mine (and probably will again) I've given up on painting it.
hey great job very nice build .

How did you bend the PVC? Such as the Keyboard arm and the grey piping that can be found at 1:54

Just heat it up with the heat gun, just search up making pvc bows and you will see how to easily bend pvc
Great job. Obe of the best lookin pvs rigs i've seen.
do you have the blueprint? pls

Got any step by step instructions?
When it came to painting, did you have to sand down the pipe or were you able to paint it right away? Beautiful job, by the way. Very impressive.
VelociPat No need to sand it, i just cleaned it with rubbing alcohol first.
@@OopDeOopFishin perfect! Thank you very much for the quick reply. Take care of yourself and stay safe!

Very nice rig! Do you have a parts list, cut list or any plans for this rig you could let me have?
I do not. Sorry. I just went with an idea and started building.
I believe it was a 98-99 accord
man, just found this! what size pipe is that? I love how its not oversized!
Top work and funny haha.
If you live in Washington state or close. This rig is for sale! Pedals and G25 included. As of February 25 2017
j will how could I build one just like it? I have been searching for awhile and this is the gaming chair I need to build!
wife was that pissed I guess. I know mine would be!
What is that seat from?
Hey I'm 14 I love your rig the red looks awesome how much did it cost?
He said at end of video (minus paint and seat and controls ) $160.00
Best ive seen on youtube...but no blue prints makes it pointless.
